The world was pitch black. Siobhan's eyes danced around wildly, unable to focus on any solid object that produced light. However, she was only strung along in the dark abyss.

Her body jostled, warmth spreading along her whole body as she felt someone's arms wrapped around her securely.

Heavy breathing resonated through her right ear and she frowned in confusion.

As her senses started awakening, her nostrils filled in with fresh air as she took a long breath in. The smell of pine and earth clouded her nose, flooding down to her throat and seeping it's way into her lungs.

There was a soft women's cry coming above her. Siobhan's eyes fluttered open in shock, for she hadn't felt nor realized her own eyes were closed. Her ear twitched as another sob wracked through the person above her. She looked up.

A beautiful woman with unruly blonde hair looked around frantically. Her green eyes puffy and red with salty tears, while streaks ran down along her ashen cheeks.

"Who are you?" Siobhan tried to speak, yet all that came out was the sound of a babies cry.

Then woman looked down at Siobhan immediately in fright. She pulled Siobhan closer to her body as if to conceal her from someone.

"Shh, Siobhan," the woman shushed her gently.

She continued to run, carrying Siobhan in her pale arms while she raced through the murky forest. Siobhan tried to look around, yet found herself unable to due to a blanket that was wrapped securely around her frail body.

"Where are we going?" Siobhan asked again, yet only blabbering came out.

The women patted Siobhan's tiny back gently, shushing her again.

"Please, Siobhan. Stay quiet, we're almost there," The women rasped.

Siobhan tilted her head and looked up at the night sky. Only, seconds later the scenery above them changed from the night sky and into a vaulted wooden ceiling. The smell of the woods disappeared, replaced by the rough smell emitting from animals and the bland hay bails. The women freed a hand and slid the huge door shut, letting down the lock to barricade the door and locking themselves inside. She whirled around to face the simply lit barn, turning in circles to inspect the area.

From outside she heard a man shout from within the forest they just emerged from.

"Where are you?!" The man yelled in rage, "I demand you come here!"

Large, wet tears spring loose from the women's eyes again. Fear seeping into her body as she realized her fate. Her chest rose up and down, fighting to control her breathing and now her new tears. However, she was too afraid.

"Come out this instant!" The man from outside yelled again, then there was a loud bang.

Siobhan jumped, her mouth opening to cry out, but the women out her hand over Siobhan's infant mouth. Her blonde hair fell around her face in curly tendrils, some pieces slicking to the sides of her face from sweat.
