I love Hyun-a 💕

Sorry if this chapter is different then what I had originally wrote before. Somehow the original chapter was deleted, so I had to rewrite the whole thing. Since I had freehanded it the first time, I didn't exactly remember everything word to word. Therefore, this is what the chapter is now.

If you read this chapter when it was in its first original format, please forgo what you had read. I rewrote this whole chapter over again and I decided to go ahead and switch up a bit.

Thank you~

Also, I lost HUGE motivation for this book when this chapter was deleted. It was the longest chapter I had ever wrote and I was finally glad I got to the turning point in the story. But when it disappeared I honestly felt extremely depressed about it. Not only did I have to rewrite the whole chapter, but I was also going out of town for work at the time and I was very overwhelmed with everything. I felt utterly stuck.

However, reading such thoughtful and kind comments made me feel a million times better. And with the inspiration of some of my favorite movies and books, I feel even more determined to finish.

So thank you to everyone who has commented and voted. I hope you will enjoy this chapter. 💕

King Lachlan came barreling down the hallway, his heavy feet pounding against the floor with each hurried step. His chest was rumbling with an unreleased growl of displeasure and anger. As he rounded the corner and bounded into the library, his wicked eyes snapped to Siobhan immediately and roamed over every inch of her body. When he was sure she was unharmed, he directed his attention to the warriors.

Siobhan backed up against the green couch until her calves hit the edge of the velvet material. With a quick hand she reached down and snatched her book from under the cushion before anyone could notice. Siobhan tucked it into the folds of her gown and looked over at a group of warriors picking up the deceased body smothered in a white cloth. She was unable to see the victims face, for they had covered it before she arrived.

The warriors hauled the limp body out of the room, past the King and onlookers. With dread, Siobhan took slow steps over to King Lachlan and the warriors he was speaking to. She stopped to the left of him, slightly behind his massive form.

"So you're telling me she died of affixation?" King Lachlan asked, his face hard.

"Yes sir," Aldric replied, "We also have much to believe the murder happened within this room around afternoon-"

"Afternoon?" Siobhan interrupted, her heart skipped a beat.

Aldric's eyes flicked down to hers, "Yes, Lady Siobhan."

Siobhan's breath hitched in her throat. The airway becoming blocked with an unseen blob and making it difficult to swallow.

Bang.

Bang.

Bang.

"What is it?" The King asked. Siobhan looked down at the ground and frowned.

Bang.

Bang.

Bang.

The King turned towards her, "Siobhan?"

Siobhan took a step back while her eyes danced around in all directions. Her mind wandered.

The dream.
