The three Lykae warriors watched in surprise as King Lachlan bent over suddenly. He yelled out in pain, but his voice was quickly converted into a deep, animalistic, growl that vibrated from within him. His breath hastened; his whole upper body rising and falling heavily.

"Rìgh Lachlan, dè a tha ceàrr? (King Lachlan, what's wrong?)" Vivian asked, slipping into the native Lykae tongue.

"Siobhan..." He sputtered out. Instead of replying to Vivian, he reached out towards Siobhan.

She grabbed hold of his hand comfortingly, forgetting her anger towards him in a second, "Yes, my King?"

His eyes snapped up to hers when she spoke the words. Siobhan stifled a gasp, noticing that his human eyes were gone and were now replaced by the glowing, electric blue irises of his Beast. Her heart warmed under his intoxicating gaze and she didn't even notice when he had pulled her to his chest in a tight embrace. After a few moments of confusion, she wrapped her shaking arms around him.

King Lachlan, halfway transformed into his Beast, leaned towards his neck and sniffed. The claws of his nails pointed just slightly, poking into her back through the thin material of her dress. Siobhan froze then, remembrance of what damage his claws inflicted upon her before flashed like warning signs in her mind.

"King-" She has started to protest, but just then the gatekeepers of the dungeons burst into the room.

She looked over at them, seeing a seething Vivian not far behind them. The men came forward, bowing to the King.

"Your Majesty," The two men said in unison.

King Lachlan growled lowly, out of annoyance rather than rage. He leaned away from Siobhan with great reluctance, his claw tipped fingers falling away from her waist. Looking over at the two men, he nodded once at them. The Beast inside him howled in blind fury. Its need to be near its mate overwhelming him.

"Right this way, sir," One guard spoke.

The King stepped away from Siobhan fully, leaving a gap between their bodies. He allowed the guards to guide him willingly towards a larger cell down the corridor.

"King Lachlan..."

Siobhan wanted to follow him. Wanted to close the gap that stretched between them as he walked farther and farther away from him. He stopped for a split second at the entrance to his cell, casting a glance over at Siobhan with worry-filled eyes.

"Stay in your room tonight," He commanded to her, "Lock your door."

Siobhan frowned in confusion, but nodded at his command anyways. A command from a King could never be ignored nor denied for that matter. She heard the gatekeepers rattle silver chains inside of his cell as they cuffed him to the wall and ground. When they were finished, they emerged from the cell and closed the door behind them with a click of the lock.

My King fully locked up like a prisoner?

As the men walked passed her, she stopped them, "Why lock him up like so?"
