“Her sanity suspended
in a moment of wander.”
Drifting in and out of Daydreams
She watches the day growing old,
Twilight calling the sky,
Leaves swaying in rhythm,
Slightly dimmed houses;
Another world beyond her vision.
She lets her mind wander,
Travel the lands of a restricted area
With her head resting on arms,
She surfs the minds of passers by .
A pair of eyes singing sadness,
Maybe they lost a lover?
One with slumped shoulders
An argue with their mother?
Hazel eyes lit up like lanterns
Perhaps expecting a baby?
She laughs at her fictions,
Her mind dancing in awe,
It never ceased to amaze her ;
How together we're constellations.
Lonely stars,
each humming to their
own melody.
