Best Friends With A Vampire

Chapter Seven: Truth Revealed

I went over to Tessa's house as soon as I woke up. I needed to figure out the truth as soon as possible! Even though I was in my pj's, I managed to get to Tessa's house. I rung the doorbell and Tessa answered. She looked at me up and down as if to say, "What on Earth are you wearing?!". "I'm wearing my pj's. Duh. Now, you need to come with me, okay?"
"Ummmm ok-kay.." She said, with a little bit of confusion and worry in her voice. I dragged her into my room and locked the door behind her. "Are you a vampire?" I ask, lowering my voice down when I said 'vampire'.
"H-h-how did you find out?!" She asks worried. "Please don't hunt me down!"
I laugh a bit. "Why would I hunt you down?" I say. "You're my best friend." She smiles a bit, then gets off the bed. She takes a glance at my computer -which was still on and it still said what I searched up- and saw what the search bar thingie said. "Is that how you found out I was a vampire?" She asks, pointing to my computer.
"Sort of," I say, "I actually found out when I searched it up and then suddenly remembered that whenever you smiled, I saw two sharp teeth sticking out, and that's how I figured it out."
"Ah, that makes sense." She says. "Sort of."
We both laugh a bit, and then she leaves the room because she knows I'm gonna be changing out of my pj's. I change into my favourite purple hoodie with a white shirt underneath and my lucky cotton candy colored (but instead of the pink with the blue it's purple with blue I just made it like that lol) jeans. Tessa comes back in and hops into my office chair. "Hey!" I say playfully. Tessa laughs and hops out of my chair and runs down the stairs at lightning speed. "Get back here!" I laugh, nearly tripping down the last five stairs. She laughs and whips the front door open and rushes out the door. "Catch me if you can!" She sing-songs while running. I run outside, too, and Tessa is nowhere to be found.
"Where are you, you little monster?!" I say playfully. I run around trying to find her, but discover her front door open.
