Kia's POV
Entry one, Friday, December 13th, 2018

Hi, I'm Kia Jones. I go to OceanSide High, with my bff, Nicole Sharp. I'm 15, and I have the most annoying little sister in the world, even more annoying then my bff's little brother. Anyway, that's enough about me and my family. I was going to my bff's house and when I knocked on the door, Nikki almost immediately opened it. "How did you...?" I said. "I told you, I'm a vampire. I can fly. Watch." Nikki said. I nodded and immediately she turned into a bat. I stood there, frozen in shock. She turned back into human form and said, "Told you. Now let's get inside, I'm dying here." I was still frozen, so she had to drag me into her room. "Look out the window to that room there. That's where the vampire lives." Nikki said, pointing to a room. I looked, and then I saw who she was talking about. "She's the girl I wrote about on my latest story on WattPad, 'Vampire Sightings Found', remember?" She said. "B-b-but I thought that it was fiction!" I say, falling on her bed. "Welp, never judge a book by its cover!" She says. "But, I called you for this. Look at my computer, it says a guy named Nicholas Sharp died in Quebec on November 15 this year, and that's my dad. But look at this." She says grabbing out her phone. She goes on the messages and clicks her dad's number, and it says her dad texted her on December 1st! "Omg! How?!?" I say. "I'm really not sure.." Nikki says, shrugging. Suddenly, her window opens. A girl is there, someone I didn't recognize. And I know everyone. "Hi, I'm Kia Jones. What's your name?" I ask, holding out my hand. She shakes it and says, "I'm Olive Jee, nice to meet you!" "I just want to know, where did you come from, and how did you get my window open?" Nikki asks, clearly suspicious. "I live on Western Avenue, not too far from here. Also, I got the window open because I'm pretty strong, I think... and I got up the wall because I take rock wall climbing classes." Olive says, clearly afraid of what we were going to think about her. "If you want me to go, I can... I just wanted to find some friends here, I'm new here. And I guess it was a lucky guess I found two girls that look about the same age as me. I'm 15," Olive says, "I'm guessing you two are sisters?" Olive says, again. Nikki looks at me. I shake my head. "No, we're not sisters, we're best friends, but nice try!" I say. "Oh. Can I be your friends?" Olive asks. I nod at Nikki, who shakes her head, but I say, "Sure! You can be our friends! And in case you didn't know, this here is Nicole, she prefers her friends call her Nikki though." "Oh, okay! Nice to meet you, Nikki!" Olive says, her hand out. Nikki looks at it for a while, then finally sighs, and shakes Olive's hand. "So, Kia, where do you live? Or is this your house?" Olive asks. "Oh, this isn't my house, this is Nikki's, but I live I think right next to you maybe? I'm not sure, but I do live on Western Avenue." I say. "Oh, okay! Well, nice room Nikki!" Olive says, smiling. "Don't call me Nikki." Nikki mumbles, which is the first words she's spoken in a while. "But, I'm your friend too! Not just Kia! You can hang out with both of us! By the, if I offended you Kia by saying not just you, then I am sorry." Olive says, running her hands through her hair. "You are not my friend." Nikki says. "Nikki, just chill, you haven't even really got to know her yet, so stop being so..." I say, trying to look for the right word. "Mean." "I don't trust her, Kiki! She's suspicious to me." Nikki says. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, my nickname is Kiki. "Just get to know her a bit, Nikki." I say. Olive freezes. "What is it Olive? Also, we need to get you a nickname. I think Olli sounds good, don't you?" I say. Olive stays silent, frozen still. I look behind me and see a bat. 'Oh no, what's happening?!' I think. "T-t-this house is haunted?! WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY IT?!?!" Olive screams. I keep saying it's not haunted to calm her down while Nikki sorts out the bat situation. "Yeah, it is!" Olive says.  I look behind us and see Nikki with a little cage. And inside the cage, was the bat. "I think this'll make a great pet! Not. It's staying locked up in the cage." Nikki says, pointing to the cage. I told Olive it was okay now, and she stopped huddling into a ball on the bed. My back pocket beeps and it says I got a text from Nikki. The text says: I'm pretty sure the bat was Tessa trying to spy on us. I respond like this: Who da heck is Tessa??? 😕😕. My phone beeps again and it says: The vampire I told you about. I respond: Ohhhhhhhhh👌 Nikki let's out a little laugh. I turn around and give her the peace sign and she laughs even harder. "What's so funny???" I ask. "I have no idea..." Nikki says, scratching her head. Now it's my turn to laugh. "Guys? I'm still here." Olive says. "Oops, sorry Olive, I'm just used to talking to Nikki all the time." I say. "It's okay, Nikki doesn't even like me anyways.." Olive says. Suddenly, the glass on Nikki's window shatters everywhere, and when I say everywher, I mean EVERYWHERE. "AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!" We all scream. The glass even goes into the fishbowl. 'Poor fish...' I thought. The glass just barely cuts us, but we dodged just in time. Then the door shatters as well. The wood goes everywhere as well. The wood gives me like, 20 splinters because I didn't notice the door shattered so I didn't duck. "OWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!" I howled in pain. "OMG, KIA ARE YOU ALRIGHT?!?!?" Olive and Nikki both scream. Suddenly, the computer shatters as well and gets me (again😠) and Nikki. "HELP Us please..!" I scream, my voice fading. Suddenly, everything goes black.
