It's been 2 weeks and Jack hasn't said a single thing to any of us. Until today. I texted jack.

Me: Kameryn has been playing with the guitar and wants to show you something

Jack: can i come over right now?

Me: Ya of course

An hour later Jack came I went to open the door and say hi but he didn't say it back so I guess he was still mad.

"JACK!" Ryn said jumping from the couch.

"Hey kiddo, I heard you've been learning to play that guitar"

"YA WANNA HEAR" she said grabbing the guitar.

She started strumming it randomly which made Jack smile.

"It's great" he said laughing a little he brought Ryn onto his lap and started teaching her how to actually use it.

"You hold the guitar like this, and put your fingers here" he told her moving her hands as he taught her.

I watched with a smile on my face and he looked up and smiled at me. For some reason it was like i just met him. That smile made me melt like i had ever seen it before.

"I'm going to go run some errands if thats ok" i asked jack. He just nodded at me.

"There is food in the fridge" i told them. I walked out of the house and went to, you guessed it, autumns house. I walked in like i live there, well i pretty much do.

"Daniel"

"Ya" he called from the living room.

"Remember that box of stuff i told you to never let me look at."

"Ya..."

"I need it" i said quickly.

"But you said to never let you see it" he said.

"Well i also said not to let jack find out about kameryn but look at us now" i countered.

"Fine, come here" he walked to the closet and pulled out a box. "You sure?" he asked cautiously.

"Yup, i'm not too worried about this stuff keeping me from forgetting jack because he is in my living room, i'm not going to forget him"

He handed me the box and we walked towards the door.

"Oh, one more thing" i said.

"Ugh what do you need now"he complained.

"I told jack i was running errands so i need to walk home with something."

"Ugh one sec" He came back and handed me a roll of toilet paper "use it wisely" He said making me crack up.

"So where's the real thing your gonna give to me"

"Ugh! Here" He said handing me a 12 pack of sprite

"Autumn is gonna kill you for giving her sprite away" i said while grabbing the sprite.

"eh She has too much of it anyways and I swear to god this woman gets drunk off of it! It has no alcohol nor caffeine, I swear and when she has skittles" he said shaking his head

"Its like shes Drunk and High at the same time!" I said making both of us crack up. When i got home i walked inside and ryn ran over to me.

"Mommy Mommy I can play the guitar now! SPRITE!" She said trying to grab a can.

"I'm going to get going" Jack said getting up. I followed him outside.

"Thanks for coming over I really appreciate it" 

"No problem"

"You really make her happy" I said

"That's the goal" he said which made me smile I waved him goodbye. I went back inside.

"Hey Ryn it's time for you to go to bed you have your first day of school tomorrow"

"OK mommy" she said as she went to brush her teeth and I later tucked her in.
