In the morning I woke up and looked over to jacks side of the bed. Nothing. I knew he was going to the studio early but it still surprised me he was gone. I put on some pants and my work shirt and headed to ryn's room. I walked into her room to find her already up and writing on a piece of paper.
"Hey Ryn watcha doing" i asked while sitting down on her bed.
"Mommy it's almost my birthday"
"Ya it is, do you know how many days" I asked while pointing to a calendar on her wall.
"Umm. I only know how to count to 50 but there is 50 and 11" she told me. Being the math nerd I am I had to sit down and teach her how to add.
After our little lesson we had to head to school.
"Ryn your lunch" I said handing it to her before she got out the car. I went to work and literally 40 minutes of being at work I was called into Ryns school. At the same time as me Jack pulled up to the school.
"What do you think she did?" Jack asked
"No clue" We walked into the office and saw Ryn,Parker Peter and 4 other girls sitting in the chairs outside the office.
"Hi mommy! Hi daddy!" She said standing up and hugging us. The principal motioned us into the office where a couple other parents were seated.
"So Mr. And Mrs.Avery" The principal started I tried to interrupt saying it was actually Ms.y/l/n but he kept going
"Are you aware that your child is being bullied?" She asked
"Not bullied but she said a couple girls were being mean to her once" Jack said
"Well, your kids" she said pointing to the other parents "Were saying some mean things to Ryn and pushing her around and well she said some worse things back" she told us and I knew immediately what she meant Ryn said all the things Hailey and I said last night to those girls. The principal explained everything to us and told us what would happen. Ryn was suspended for using bad language. The girls were suspended for bullying. Parker peter was in trouble for throwing crayons at the girls although he did it cause they were being mean to Ryn so props to him. All of us parents walked out of the room to face our children and they all just sit there smiling.
We brought Ryn to the car and jack started driving.
"Where are we going daddy"
"Home"
"Why I wanna be at sch-"
"Ryn not the time" I said interrupting her I looked down at my hands. How could I be such a stupid person. Why would I swear in front of my own daughter. Jack looked at me and put his hand on mine. I took a deep breath and looked up.
"Autumn's" I said quietly to jack so he knew I wanted to go there.
