"Y/n what a surprise!" he said as he pulled me in for a hug. The past couple of years weren't as bad as they were when ryn was first born.
"Hi, Is my mom home" i asked
"Ya" he said letting me in. I went to the kitchen and gave my mom a hug
"Hey where's ryn?" she asked
"Oh she's at Autumns house" i told her
"Autumn is amazing, so sweet of her to watch ryn how did you get so lucky to have a friend like that"
"She didn't really have a choice" i mumbled underneath my breath "so i have something to tell you"
"Ok one sec let me put this in the oven" she said before we sat down at the kitchen table
"You remember Jack right" i asked as she nodded her head "Well Ryn is his"
"You don't think i know that" she says giving me a 'you think i'm stupid' look
"Well that's not what i came to tell you, i came to tell you that Jack and I got back together"
"I was at Autumns wedding Y/n I saw you guys dancing and kissing each other" she said kind of laughing "I am just glad your happy, i haven't seen you smile like that since ryn was born"
"Thanks mom" i said as she kissed my head
"YOU GOT BACK TOGETHER WITH THAT BOY, HE IS NO GOOD. HE KNOCKED YOU UP MADE YOU RUN AWAY ON TOUR AND LEFT YOU TO TAKE CARE OF THAT DANG CHILD ALONE" My stepdad said of course he was eavesdropping
"Honey" My mom said giving him a stern look
"Listen I didn't tell him i was pregnant he would have been there and i decided to go on tour with him none of this is his fault and i don't need your dang approval im an adult and you can't tell me what to do" I said trying not to yell. I grabbed my purse from the table and walked out
"YOU BETTER NOT WALK AWAY FROM ME" He yelled as i left the house and i simply stuck up the middle finger and didn't look back.
