Chapter 6 the fall of iron and the rise of blackstone

Y/n: It is finally time. After a year of fighting the iron legion is backed into a corner. One castle remains. And we just launched a siege on it. We stormed the walls pushing them into the castle. Soon the real threat arrived. The Warden. 

Warden: Enough! Face me Apollyon! 

Apollyon walked out to the front.

Warden: I am surprised you started helping people instead of hurting them.

Apollyon: I do not think you got the word. I do not control the Blackstone legion anymore. I put it in better hands. 

Warden: And who would that be?

Will walked forward.

Will: That would be my brother. You can not defeat him. He has something you do not.

Warden: And what would that be?

Siv walked forward.

Siv: Darkness. It chose him. And because of it he will never fall. 

Warden sarcastically: Don't tell me. He left the three of you here to do his dirty work?

Apollyon: I could easily kill you.

Will: I would not mind picking you up and snapping your neck.

Siv: I would not mind taking a few limbs from you.

Apollyon: But Y/n is more than capable of doing this himself. 

I walked next to Apollyon. 

Y/n: Hello. 

Apollyon took off her helmet and kissed the side of my helmet. She put the helmet back on. 

Warden: So you come to face me? 

Y/n: Yes. 

Warden: Very well then. *draws sword*.

My sword was engulfed in darkness. I charged at them. And they did the same. We dueled for some time. Then I heard the cheers for me to win.

Siv: Come on Y/n! You can win! 

Will: Get them big brother! 

Apollyon: Show them that you can not lose! 

That was enough for me to knock the warden down and have my blade at their neck. 

They looked at me. 

Warden: Kill me then. Take over my legion. 

Y/n: I got a better idea. * sheaths sword and extends hand*. Join me. And with your help peace can be one step closer. 

Warden: *takes hand*. You are something else Y/n. Even though I did not imagine fighting along side Apollyon again. 

Apollyon: Nor did I imagine fighting with you again. 

Siv: Eh, it could be worse.

Will: Yeah. We could be fighting with a bunch of babies.

Y/n: Yeah that would be bad. 

We started building ourselves up to full strength. But the vikings wanted to destroy us. The fronts were defended with ease. The Warden knew what they were doing. My friends and I went to different locations. Some fronts fell but we pushed them back. All I wanted now was peace.SO when we could we charged into viking territory. We pushed through it. But we stopped so our troops could rest. At one point we were all at camp shivering. Well actually Siv was not.

Siv: Oh come on guys. This is not that cold.

Will: S-s-speak for y-y-yourself. 

Y/n: Y-y-yeah cousin, I-I'm freezing. 

Siv: Wussies. 

We had many great moments like this one. But something was bothering Apollyon.

Apollyon: Y/n can I talk to you?

Y/n: Of course.

Apollyon: Why do you keep prisoners? They are a waste.

Y/n: Because once this is all over. They will be able to go home. And I would prefer them to go home alive then dead. 

Apollyon: Y/n. You are far too pure for this world. I can not understand why your parents hate you. In the time I got to know you. You proved that you are strong and independent. If they do not see that after this all goes down. Then they are dumb. 

Y/n: Thanks Apollyon. That means a lot to me.

Apollyon: I love you. 

Y/n: I love you too. 

Now I understand that no matter what. The only people that matter are family. Everyone else. Well they might matter a little bit. But not to the massive amount family does.
