"Sup, I'm Phoenix. Would it be okay if you made a Barry Allen one-shot where Barry finds out his sister is kidnapped by Zoom and she's being held captive in his base waiting for Barry to come and help?"
-----------------------------------------------------------
"Where is she?!" Barry growled.
Iris watched as he zoomed around the room in panic. The thought of his sister being harmed by the hand of Zoom just tears him apart.
"We're still trying to lo-"
"Did you find the location on where he's holding her captive?" Barry cut Cisco's sentence off.
"Barry, you need to slow down. Right here and right now." Iris said.
Cisco cleared his throat as Barry death glared the floor.
"As I was trying to say.. We're still trying to find the location. The satellites aren't picking up any form of meta-human speed. Other than your own, of course." Cisco explained.
"I'm going down to the station to see if they have any other leads." Caitlin said.
"I'm coming with you. I have to pick up some equipment." Cisco stated.
Caitlin nodded as Cisco grabbed his hoodie from the spinning chair. As they left the room to exit the building, Iris quietly walked over to Barry and let her hand find its way to his shoulder.
"Do you think she's okay?" Barry mumbled.
"Of course." Iris said. "He wouldn't dare to hurt her. Especially since she's your sister."
"If he lays a finger on her, or even dares to hurt her, I swear he won't see the light of day ever again." Barry said.
"Phoenix is strong. Even if he tries to hurt her, she'll hurt him ten times harder." Iris said.
"I'm gonna find her." Barry stood up.
"Woah, calm down Barry. You don't even know where they are." Iris said.
"I will know." Barry growled.
"Don't you think you're getting out of hand? You're angry. You're worried. You're scared. But you need to stay strong. If not for yourself, but for your sister."
"I'm gonna get her out of there." Barry ignored Iris. "Right now."
"Barry!" Iris hissed.
"I don't care how much it takes. I'm going to find her." Barry said.
"Barry.." Iris said much more quietly now.
"And I'm going to bring her home."(Phoenix's P.O.V)
"Honestly, I really do have a fashion taste. It's completely different from what I wear. I just don't have enough confidence to wear what I want." Phoenix continue to blabber on about her little nothing's.
"Can you shut up?!" Zoom screamed.
"Huh? Why?" She asked.
"You're giving me a migraine. Will yo-"
"As I was saying- I'm not sure if confidence is my problem. I need some fucking money. I have confidence.. just no money." Phoenix shrugged.
Zoom stomped his way out of the room, slamming the door shut behind him.
"Wait!" She called out.
"What?!" A small growl was heard.
"Who said this: 'Nothing in life is promised except death.'?" She asked.
She didn't hear Zoom reply at first. All that was heard was things getting moved around, and rock hard feet hitting the floor. But then the door flew open.
"Edgar Allan Poe?" Zoom asked.
"Nope." Phoenix grinned, popping the "p" sound.
"Impossible. I am a genius. Who was it?!" Zoom hissed.
"Kan-ye West." She squinted her eyelids towards him and formed her lips into a nasty smirk.
He only rolled his eyes and slammed the door shut again.
As soon as she realized he was for sure gone, Phoenix tugged on the ropes with all of her might, but they wouldn't give. She could feel her wrists start to burn, only making her want them off much more.
"Don't bother." A voice said.
Phoenix looked up to discover a thin girl bound with the same rope. She hasn't noticed her before. The girl was so quiet.
Although it was dark, Phoenix could see her bruised eyes and bloody wrists.
"I already tried."
"Who are you?" Phoenix asked.
"Demon to some. Angel to others." The girl replied, a small shrug left her shoulders.
"How long have you been here?" Phoenix mumbled.
"About a month. Maybe two." The girl said. "Too long."
"And your name?" Phoenix nodded.
"Sol." The girl said. "It means Sunshine."
"Okay.. Sol.." Phoenix said. "I'm going to get us out of here.."
"How? I've tried everything." Sol grumbled.
"I have friends. I'm sure they're looking for me by now." Phoenix said matter of factly.
"Friends. I had those, too. That is until Zoom snapped their necks in less than one second." Sol sighed.
"Great.." Phoenix mumbled. The silence was deadly. Zoom hadn't been back for hours. Phoenix was just wondering why she was still there and not yet rescued by Flash. She was even starting to think Zoom got him and snapped his neck just as he did to Sol's friends. But Barry was your brother, and it killed you inside to keep thinking about him dying by Zoom's hand.
Phoenix's thoughts were broken by a sniffling sound. A really annoying sound, actually. Was Sol crying?
"Sol?" Phoenix asked.
"I can't take this anymore." Sol choked out.
"Please don't cry.." She frowned. "It's alright. I'm right here."
Phoenix could see Sol's head lift up. Her eyes were stained with tears. Even though it was dark, she could see clearly on how scared Sol was. She had just come to realise that Sol might be only under the age of fifteen.
"Everything is going to be alright." Phoenix said.
"Everyone said that." Sol sobbed.
"Everyone? Who is everyone?" She asked.
"Everyone that was here before. They all left. And you're going to leave me, too." Sol explained. "I'm so scared."
"I'm not going to leave." Phoenix said. "I'm going to stay. Right here! With you!"Phoenix was speaking just a bit above Zoom's liking. As soon as the sentence left her mouth, Zoom appeared in the room with a growl.
"No talking." He said.
"Why am I here? Why did you choose me?!" Phoenix instantly screamed.
"You know very well why, Phoenix." Zoom said.
"Obviously not, dude." She frowned.
"One word: The Flash." Zoom said.
"Okay, first of all: that's two words. And second: what does he have to with this?" Phoenix spat.
"Oh, don't be so dumb."
"Don't talk to her like that." Sol quietly said.
"What was that?" Zoom asked with a tilit of his head.
"Sol, stop." Phoenix warned.
"There's nothing here for me anymore." Was all she said.
"Just wait a little longer. We're almost there!" Phoenix said.
"My friends, my family..everyone I cared about are all dead. I died when they did. And it's all because of you!" Sol looked up at Zoom, her eyes full of hate. Pain more than anything.
Phoenix saw Zoom flinch at her words. He stumbled a little bit. She assumed her words sent Zoom into a moment of flashback.
"Stop talking.." He growled.
"You're a monster." Phoenix said. "That's all you'll ever be. Just let us go and you can carry on with your miserbal life."
Zoom didn't hesitate to run over to Phoenix, grabbing her throat like it was nothing.
"I said shut up. I will phase through this neck of yours, and make you suffer." He growled.
"Wow, how long did it take you to come up with that?" Phoenix managed to choke out. "You had to go there didn't you?"
"Leave her alone! You're only proving to me of how much of a monster you are." Sol screamed.Zoom turned her way. But his body language was much more dark, evil, even terrifying. Phoenix knew this was going to be the end of Sol. But what could she do? She's in chains.
"I'm not scared of you." Sol growled.
"In that outfit, who would be? " Someone said from the corner.
Phoenix could feel her heart run full of relief. The Flash..is here!
"Flash!" Phoenix squealed.
"Wow, Zoom, you kidnapped a friend of mine, yeah? All for what? To see me?" The Flash asked. "I'm starting to think you're obsessed with me."
"Flash.." Zoom said. "Nice of you to join us."
"You seem weak.. did I miss something?" Flash asked.
"I don't seem weak. You're just trying to see m-"
"We've been in this situation before. You used to seem so..energetic, fierce, bold.. it's something else." Flash smirked. "I get it now!"
"Can we just hurry up and leave? Kick his ass and get us out of here!" Phoenix interrupted.
"Well, you know me, I love making you miserable." The Flash smirked at Phoenix.
The Flash ran over to Zoom and knocked him over.
"Wow..you really are weak." Flash grumbled.
"Be back in a flash." He said to Phoenix and Sol.
Sol looked at you as she noticed the two men are gone. But before she could blink, Flash was back in less than five seconds unchaining her.
"Sh..Sh.. It's alright." Flash whispered to Sol.
Phoenix now knows that Sol was sobbing. Unable to comfort her, Phoenix groans out loud.
"Here you go.." Flash sets her on the ground gently, making sure not to hurt her.
As soon as Sol was unchained, a bright light blinded everyone in the room. Maybe not everyone. Flash stumbled back, hiding his eyes from the bright light only feet away from him.
"Thank you." A voice was heard.
Phoenix squinted her eyes as the light dimmed, and she smiled when she noticed it was Sol who was shining so bright.
"I had no idea.." Phoenix smiled. "You're a meta-human."
"Not a meta-human..A god." Sol replied.
"W-Where are you from?" Flash asked.
"It doesn't matter.. I just need to get home." Sol replied.
Sol walked over to you. Her body didn't look small and fragile anymore. She seemed more brave. Like a queen, perhaps.
"Here you go, darling." Sol said as she untied you.
"By the way, thank you Flash." Sol added.
Flash didn't reply. Instead, he ran over to Phoenix and helped her down.
"Did he hurt you?" He asked.
"No. If he did I would have hurt him ten times worse." Phoenix rolled her eyes.
"Iris said the same thing.." He mumbled.
Suddenly Phoenix was pulled into a hug. A really tight one.
"I'm glad you're safe.."
"Me too..." Phoenix smiled "Dork."
