Back to the Future|Barry Allen x Reader

Request:
Could you please do a part where the reader is a speedster and had to run back in time to save Barry and ask the past Barry for help. Barry and her would be engaged in the future but not in the time she would run to and she had to deal with that so she didn't say anything too important about the future and mess up? I hope my explanation is understandable 😁

"We need to save him." You say. "I'm not giving up."
"We know, (Y/N). We just..We just don't know what to do." Iris said.
"You keep saying that! Figure something out!" You yelled.
"You guys don't understand!"
"Everytime I close my eyes..I just..I just see him. Laying there, on that cold, hard floor, covered in nothing but his own blood."
"He's here, now." Caitlin said. "He's safe."
"For now." You spat. "What's going to happen if he doesn't make it? He has a 10% chance! You've said it yourself."
You let out a shaky breath as you hugged Iris, burying your face into her shoulder, letting your snot and tears be wiped against her burgundy sweater.
"It's not fair!" You cried.
Iris sighed and nodded, rubbing tiny circles into your shoulders, letting out her own couple of tears.
"I know, (Y/N). It's not." She said. "But Barry made his choice to go "
You sat up, looking at Iris with red desperate eyes, your hands tugging on your own shirt fiercely.
"Then so did I."

"You don't have to do this." Cisco said.
"Just get it ready, Cisco." You sighed.
"It's not safe, you know?" He added.
"Cisco." You warned.
"I'm sorry." Cisco mumbled. "It's just that- you're family. You belong with us. And I don't want you going back and changing anything over some accident. Barry is going to be fine a-"
"We don't know that." You cut him off.
Cisco's eyes closed. He was not going to let your words sway him, even though they're piercing through his heart like thick roots through soil.
"Please, (Y/N)." Cisco's voice was rough. He was so close to tears, and you didn't even notice.
"He's my fiance!! I'm not giving up on him." You shout.
"Goodbye, Cisco." You breathe, your eyes are full of unshed tears.
But you ran anyways. Faster than you have before. Up until you see the breach that'll send you through all sorts of time traveling.
And then...you were gone.

"Why would I ever do that?" Barry furrowed his eyebrows. "Pfft, no way."
Ugh, he's the same dork you fell in love with.
"I was hoping you'd have all the answers." You sighed. "What a shame."
"You're dying..in the future. I came back to try and help you. But to help you, I.. I need your help."
"My help? Ho-"
"Don't go in there alone. Don't go into the fire department alone. Wait for the others. The fire wasn't an accident, it was on purpose and it was a trap that you fell right into."
"Can you feel the stress radiating from my body?" You asked.
"Sorta..it's kind of depressing." Barry nodded. "But..when is this?"
"What's the date?" You asked.
"January 16th, 2017." Barry said.
One week before be proposed.
"You have.. three weeks." You nodded.
You fiddled with the ring that was tucked into your jacket, out of sight where Barry couldn't see it. He hadn't yet proposed to the past you just yet, and you sure as hell didn't want to ruin anything.
"I should go.." You say. "Promise me. Promise me you'll be safe that night."
"I-I...I promise.."
"When I go back, I better see an alive and healthy Barry Allen, am I understood?" You growled.
"Y-Yes.. Ma'am." Barry gulped.
"Good."

And that's what happened. You went home to a healthy, strong, handsome Barry Allen. A few scratches here or there, but you knew they'd heal after a while. You were just glad he was okay. 💓
