People misunderstand what it means to be a good one. You don't get credit for being honest, loyal and dependable. You do not get credit for being trustworthy, consistent and genuine. It's appreciated, but it's also the standard. Being a good one means much more than not giving yourself to someone else. Can you inspire them to chase their dreams? Add value to their future? Or patiently help them strengthen their weaknesses? Just because you have good intentions does not mean you are a good one. Don't expect rewards for doing the bare minimum. What you get all depends on what your willing to give. It's not just about you. It's not all about them. It's about give and take. The more you front the more fake stuff you'll attract. Start showing what's really in your heart and watch love appear in front of your eyes. It's too many people expecting a good one. A true good one sees past your mistakes. They make you feel unstoppable and they build you up. They challenge you and keep you focused. Devote quality time to the person you care for. Genuinely invest in the things that they are passionate about. It doesn't have to be anything spectacular all it has to be is thoughtful. A woman that gives a man peace will never have to complain about not getting time. A man who gives a woman consistency will never have to complain about loyalty. It just takes more to be a good one. If they don't invest in your passion they don't really believe in your potential. If they don't contribute to your growth they're not meant to be in your future. It's not about what they can do for you. It's about what they can inspire you to do for yourself. So maybe your a good one and maybe your not, but before you answer that, ask yourself if you could love someone like you.
