dear men,

understand this;
we are not fighting to prove
that women are superior
we are fighting so that a mother never
has to say to her daughter
"you can't walk home alone from
your friends house, it's not safe out there for girls"
we are fighting so that a girl never
has to accept that there is a
double standard
we are fighting so no woman ever
has to live in fear of the men around her
we are fighting so men understand that although it's "not all men" it's enough men.
it's enough men to strike terror in
the hearts of women around the globe

understand this;
as long as we need to,
we will keep fighting.

we may not see the day where
women are completely free
but the next generation will
have it better then we do
and i believe that is the biggest
reason why we keep fighting.

we will never stop fighting
