17 people.
17 bodies.
1 gun.and yet you still say,
it is not the guns that
are doing the killing,
it is the monsters that are wielding the gunswell these so called "monsters" are denied
access to health care
shunned from society
and ignored by your government
until they pick up a gun
only then is action taken
and even then,
the action is not enoughbut now,
once the massacre is over,
it is now that the red flags are seen
the red flags that could've prevented
the loss of
17 lives.those 17 people will never wake up,
they will never recover and they
will never be able to tell their families
that they love them ever againand i bet you the survivors
and those who lost loved ones
are in their own living helli bet you
those who made it out,
still hear the screams of terror
being torn out of their
classmates and students
by bullets,
while they are sleeping.i bet you,
those who saw the end
of a life
will see that image
every time they close their eyes.i bet you
those who made it out still
feel the wind against their faces
as they sprinted away from their school,
every time they step outside.i bet you
some of those kids will
never
be able to step foot back in
that building,
without a tidal wave
of memories
overcoming them.but i can promise you this,
these survivors will never recover,
these survivors will never be who they were
when they went into that
building that morning.these kids will not be safe until you fix the damn gun laws.
don't let this slip quietly from the media,
wreak havoc,
protest,
make your voice heard.don't let this happen again.
it can't happen again...
