This morning got off to a rocky start, with the whole 'crying during class' fiasco - and then Mitchie and I ran into Shane Gray. Man, that was an experience. Considering we had flour on our faces while we put that stuck up celebrity to shame. I'm just kidding. We just taught him some manners - which I hope he uses in the near future.
Right now I'm in the dining room for lunch. "So where did you go after class? I couldn't find you," I haven't told Caitlyn about Mitchie. To be fair, it's not my secret to tell.
"I was with Mitchie, we were um..." Caitlyn raised her eyebrows impatiently, "she was..." I coughed, "showing me some of her songs." I hated lying, especially to Caitlyn - but it's not my secret to tell. I'm just hoping that it was somewhat believable.
"Alright," she says in disbelief, "well, later we're sneaking out to the cliff down the road," she smiles "wanna come?" One of the biggest policies here at Camp Rock was to never go outside the actual camp. But this seemed fun, and who said we were jumping. "Oh, by the way - if you are, you'll have to bring your swimsuit, we're gonna be jumping off."
"What?! Are you serious!" I shout at her, in which they all laughed.
"We jus' playin' with you Faye," I hear Sander say across from where I'm sitting.
"Yeah. We are going to the cliffs, but not jumping off" Lola pitched in.
"Yeah. Maybe when it's not dark," Barron jokes. This time I laugh with the group.
"So what will we be doing?"
"Campfire, scary stories," Sander winks at me - thinking I'd be scared.
"Oh! And music, definitely music," Caitlyn interrupts.
We all agree and Caitlyn and I head back to our cabin to get ready.
"So... How do you feel about Sander..." Wait, Sander? Why is she asking me about Sander?
"He's nice I guess," I hesitantly say, "funny, good dancer, great rapper?"
All I got out of Caitlyn was a small chuckle until she dropped a minor bomb on me. "Word on street, or camp?" What a dad joke, I playfully rolled my eyes. "-is that Sander has a..." come on, say it! "-little thing for you." Huh? The more I thought about it, the more it made me happy.
"Really?" I say.
"Listen, Lola is good friends with him, and I don't think she is one to lie. And I'm pretty sure he's thinking of making a move on you tonight." Wow. I never realised until now - but I'm fifteen and have never even had a boyfriend. I've never really been fully attracted to someone. Sure, I've had crushes - but they've just been from physical attraction. But Sander, I mean he's a really nice guy. Friendly, funny, talented. Maybe I could give it a shot.
"We'll see," I smile.
"Someone's excited," she nudges me making me feel a little uncomfortable - but I laugh it off.

Right now, I'm sitting on a log next to Caitlyn, "This is really fun," I say, "I'm really glad I came."
Sander starts making his way over to us. "I'm pretty sure someone else is also glad that you came," Caitlyn jokes as she pokes me on the stomach. Sander is about four feet away from us.
"I better go, don't want to interrupt." Oh god. What am I supposed to say? I haven't ever talked to a guy, what am I supposed to say?
"Hey," Sander greets me with a large grin on his face.
"Hey Sander," I reply with a small lump in my throat. He takes a seat right next to me - where Caitlyn just sat.
"You having fun?"
