Chapter 23

Nash pov:

I woke up to the sound of a really loud knock on the downstairs door. I rubbed my eyes, stretched, and looked to see if cam had gotten out of bed for it. He didn't. I walk out into the hallway to see if it woke Lilly up to.

"I think someone's at the door." She whispered while yawning.

"Should I get it?" I asked.

"I don't see why not." She giggled. Gosh I missed her giggle. "I'll go with you Nashy."

She walked behind me and messed my hair up the whole way down. It was quite annoying. When I got to the door and looked through the eye thing, I saw five teenage girls smiling and laughing at each other.

"Well who is it?" Lilly whispered.

"5 teenage girls."

"Great. What should we do?"

"Nothing. Let's just go watch some cartoons." I wanted some Lilly time.

"Nash," she whined. "That's not very nice!"

"Well..." I looked at her and she made a face telling me to say hi. "Ugh. Fine!"

She smiled and kissed my cheek. "I will be in the kitchen making some gourmet breakfast for our cartoon day."

I shook my body to wake up a little, and opened the door.

"Oh. My. Gosh." The girls said. "I can't believe this is happening."

I sat there and talked to them for a little while. They were really nice and calmer than I thought they would be. We took pictures and said goodbye. I really love my fans.

I made my way to the kitchen to see Lilly had a bowl of cereal and a glass of oj out for me.

"Bon appetite." She said with her mouth full at the couch.

"Scoot your booty over." I said plopping down next to her.

We watched tom and jerry until our cereal was gone. She set her bowl down and leaned her head on my shoulder.

"So, how are you and cam doing." I asked.

"Oh you know." She paused. "Were happy. There have been moments where we disagree or something, but we say sorry and forget about it."

"Good." I sighed.

"Don't worry about us Nash."

"That's kinda hard to do. I don't want to see you get hurt."

She smiled.

"I'm fine Nash. You know why?" She asked leaning off my shoulder and looking at me.

"Why."

"Because everyday you tell me that you are always here for me. That you will never stop caring or worrying about me. Your my family now Nash. And knowing that no matter what happens, your always going to love me is a feeling I can't put into words."

I couldn't help but smile. She finally opened up to me for the first time since she started dating Cam.

"I love you like a sister Lilly. No ones gonna change that." I haven't been able to seriously tell her I love her lately. I don't know why.

Oh no. Did I say something wrong? Her smile slowly started to turn into a straight face.

She leaned her head on my shoulder again, and yawed a little. I put my arm around her and squeezed her three times. She let out a giggle, then grabbed my hand and squeezed it three times back.
