"What? How do I know you're not lying? I was in ShadowClan for a moon and Tigerstar never mentioned a prophecy!" Moonleaf hissed, looking flustered. "If you know the prophecy, you can tell me, right here, right now."
"When the blood of the Flame has been shed, and the forest is cast in shadows, there will be two, of the Tiger and Leopard, who shall cast the forest into a total eclipse." I whispered then backed into the shadows and smirked at the confusion I caused her.
"Next time you come onto RiverClan territory, I will instruct my warriors to kill you. You are not my sister," she snarled as I hid in the shadows.
Moonleaf stood there, confused for a few heartbeats, then padded back towards the camp. I followed her silently.
"Moonleaf, look what I caught today," I heard one of her kits, a golden tom, say.
"That's great Lionpaw! Did Tigerpaw or Honeypaw catch anything?" Moonleaf asked her kit. "I need to talk to you privately," she whispered.
"What is it Moonleaf?" I heard the honey-colored she-cat ask.
"I'll tell you once we find Smokefur," Moonleaf meowed. I wish Smokefur would have died in ShadowClan, then you wouldn't have to find him.
"Be right back," Moonleaf said as she padded into the camp for a minute, soon coming out with her mate, Smokefur. I wish you were all dead. But the prophecy will make me stronger, and you weaker.
"So what is it?" questioned the ginger and black tabby.
"I saw Brokenshadow again today," Moonleaf said. What, aren't you grateful for me?
"This is becoming a problem," her mouse-brained mate hissed. "We need to do something about it!"
"I know, Smokefur. I told her the next time we see her, we will kill her." Moonleaf snarled. Like you could hurt me without me letting you.
"Why did she come anyways?" asked Lionpaw.
"She had a prophecy," Moonleaf meowed. At that moment I decided to go back to ShadowClan. I raced through RiverClan territory, hunting along the way. It was dark once I got to camp, but I told Tigerstar everything. As I was finishing, Runningnose came up to us.
"Moon will break and shadows will rule until one perishes finally," he said, then slipped into the shadows.
