"Rye!" I yelled inside our hollow house.
"Yeah?" He appeared at the doorway by the kitchen.

"What's this?" I held a makeup bag, that wasn't mine, in front of him.
His eyes widened, and he shook his head.

"It's nothing babe."
"Rye-"
"It's nothing! Can't you just drop it?" he yelled, shoving pass me and going upstairs.

My eyes began tearing up and my face felt heated. My breathing became heavy.

I placed the bag on the counter and walked outside, sitting on the green grass in the front yard.

I wrapped my arms around my knees and stared at the sky.

"I love you, Rye." I said, smiling at him.
"I love you too, princess." he said, kissing me.

I felt a streak fall down my face. I closed my eyes.

"Emma?" someone called my name.

I opened my eyes and saw Andy.

Quickly, I glanced away from him.

He sat down next to me and wrapped his arm around me.

"What's wrong, Em?"
"N-nothing." I stuttered.

"Why are you crying?"
"I'm o-okay."

"No, you're not. What happened."

I broke down.

"R-Rye he-he yelled at m-me and when I c-came home today, I-I saw a m-makeup bag that wasn't m-mine in the b-bathroom." I said between sobs.

Andy pulled me closer and we sat in silence.

"Andy?" I asked once I evened out my breathing and the tears dried.
"Yeah?"

"Do you...do you think he c-cheated on me?"
Andy looked at me dead in the eye.

"No. He loves you...he wouldn't do that."
I nodded and looked away from him.

"C'mon, let's go inside."
"I'm good here."

"Emma, you have to talk to him."
"Not now."

"Emma, please."
"Andy, please...I can't right now."

He was hesitant, but nodded and went inside the house.

I closed my eyes again.

"Emma, I will love you forever and always. I'll always be here for you. Nothing will break my love for you."

I smiled at how cheesy he was.

"I will love you forever and always too, Ryan."

My heart stopped and I cried. I can't hold it in anymore.

"Emma! Come here!" I heard Andy yell.

I wiped my eyes with my sleeve and stood up, walking into the house.

Andy looked worried and he grabbed my arm and pulled me upstairs.

"Rye isn't coming out." he said pointing at the door that entered the shared bedroom.
I rolled my eyes.

"He's being overdramatic."
Andy pouted and said, "No, he's not. He's upset. Go in there, Em."

"Why? He made me upset."
"But you don't even know for sure-"
I cut him off saying, "Whatever.", and I knocked on the door.

No answer.

"Rye! Open up!"

Silence.

I glanced at Andy to see him pacing in the hallway.

"Rye! If you love me, open up!"

I heard movement and the door unlocked. He pulled it open and once I saw him, my heart broke.

Andy nodded and went downstairs.

"Rye, what's wrong?"

He stared at me.

"Babe?"

He shook his head and hugged me.

I pushed him inside our room and closed the door.

"Babe, what's wrong?"
"I-I'm sorry." he said, barely in a whisper.

"Wha-what?"

"I-I che-cheated on you."
