"Hey, Rye?"
"Yes, babe?"

"Can we go to the beach?"
"Sure. When?"
"Right now?"
"Princess, I don't think that's possible right now."
I nodded.

I lie down in our bed. Rye wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me to his chest.

"Rye?"
"Yeah?"

"Do you believe in happy endings?"
"Of course I do." he said, placing his head in the crook of my neck.
"Can we have a happy ending?"

He lifted his head, and stared at me.

"Princess, only if you want to."
"I-I do."

He connected our lips.

A simple kiss turned into something more.

I tugged at his shirt, but he pulled away.

"Let's take it slow, okay, princess?"
I nodded.

"Don't be upset with me-"
"I'm not. I understand." I said giving him a peck on his lips.

"I promise we'll have a happy ending, princess."
"Can that happy ending include you not being jealous whenever I'm hanging out with a guy?"
He nodded.

"I love you, Rye."
"I love you too, princess."
