The Beginning

Part 1

                                            Mike

2 Days Ago

I wake in the middle of the night with Cassidy beside me.

She is so beautiful.

I move the hair out of her face and kiss her forehead.

I get up slowly and leave.

No one is awake in the house.

Sam tries to follow but I close the door on him.

I turn on one of the farthest cars from the house and start driving.

I can't let Cassidy find me this way.

"You know where Mike's at?"

"No." Christian says.

"What? Your confusing me so much." I say.

"The red van is gone he must have took it. It was really low on gas so he couldn't have gotten far." Christian says.

"Then let's go!"

Whistle.

Sam comes running to me wagging his tail.

"Sam I need you to help me with something."

He just wags his tail.

I run up to my room and he follows.

Where is it?

There.

I pick up Mike's bag and start walking back downstairs with Sam.

"Ready?" Christian says in the convertible.

"Yeah."

Sam hops in the back carrying Mike's bag.

"So where we going?" Christian says.

"You said he didn't have much gas so let's drive a mile out then have Sam try to track him."

"Great plan."

"Are you trying to be sarcastic?"

"No. I just think it's a good plan."

Christian starts the car and Ariel comes running out of the house.

"Where are you guys going?" She says.

"We are going to look for Mike." I say.

Now Jake starts walking over with Abby.

"Where you going?" Jake says.

"There gonna go look for Mike." Ariel says.

"Without me?" Jake hops in the car next to Sam.

"Jake you can't come!" I yell getting fustrated.

"Okay. Okay. Calm down no need to yell." Jake says slowly getting out.

I start crying.

I cover my face with my hands.

Christian pulls me close.

"It's okay. We'll find him."

I wipe the tears off my face and get off the car.

"Come on Sam." I say.

I start walking.

"Where you going?" Everyone practically says together.

"To find Mike."
