Cassidy
Joey and I leave the music shop and enter the next store.
It's a barber's shop.
One walkers lies on the floor trapped under a heavy black chair. It's naws and struggles under the chair trying to reach my legs.
I thrust my katana in its head. I pull out my katana and flick the blood off.
I continue my search.
I watch my step, slowly walking around broken mirrors. Rats scatter the walls going all the same way. Where are they going?
Joey comes to my side from searching the back.
"The back is clear." He says.
More rats scurry by.
"Where are they all going?" I ask.
"The real question is what are they running from?" Joey says.

She stands so close our faces almost touch.
I have no idea what to do. I'm actually even confused.
While I'm trying to think this through I don't notice that now she steps even closer. Our lips meet.

She finally pulls out of the kiss and turns around and starts walking away.
What?
Now I'm really confused. She kisses me then leaves.
"Where you going?" I yell.
She turns around.
"I already told you." She says.
"Well I'm stupid, so your gonna have to tell me again." I say walking up to her.
She smiles.

I look and in the corner someone is sits, there head is down.
I don't move.
"Is that Mike?" Joey whispers.
I don't want to answer the question. I walk up to him and lift his head with my katana.
His face is covered in blood.
His teeth are visible but other then that I can't tell if it is Mike or not.
By the fresh blood his dead but not a walker... yet.
"Joey I need you to hold him down in case he turns."
Joey doesn't say anything. He kneels down and slowly gets a grip on the guy so he won't be able to get loose or bite Joey.
I grab a dirty towel that lies on one of the counters and wipe his bloody face. He has lots of bruises.
I still can't tell if it's Mike or not.
I lift his left eyelid and his eye is green. I lift his right eyelid.
