"kim taehyung? away again, i see." the teacher mumbled, as he read out the roll.
"i hope he stays away." a random voice in the classroom called out just as the classroom door had slid open.
"here you go sir, i will be here to pick you up at three. is there anything else you need?" chantelle asked, smiling softly at taehyung. the boy shook his head in response and smiled back before bowing and entering the classroom. chantelle slid the door shut and made her way back to her workplace allowing taehyung freedom to continue with his school work.
"are you new kid?" the teacher asked, squinting his eyes slightly as he stared at taehyung.
"uhm, no i'm-i'm not sir." taehyung responded, bowing his head slightly, looking around the classroom.
"oh, taehyung! you look quite different but similar at the same time, it's good to see you back. take a seat." the male teacher smiled with a closed mouth, turning around to start writing on the board. taehyung slowly walked to his seat in the back left hand corner, blushing at all the stares he received.

"can someone please explain why these are important in narrative writing?" the male, in his mid-fifties, asked the room full of teenagers. he spotted an arm at the back and nodded towards the young male. "go ahead taehyung."
"uhm, well foreshadowing is important as it allows the uh audience to interpret and understand the possible ending or uhm resolution of the story line." taehyung answered, voice slowly reducing into a quiet mumble as he glanced at all the eyes staring at him.
"good, very good." the teacher smiled, turning around once again to write on the board.

"taehyung, hi, we just were wondering if you would like to, you know maybe hang out after school?" a relatively tall boy had asked, lop-sided smile on show for everyone around.
"oh, that's very uhm nice of you but i have work later." taehyung mumbled, politely refusing his proposal. the male looked at his friends in shock.
"oh we didn't know you had a job, well then maybe next time?" the boy offered.
"uhm i'll have to check with my boyfriend first so you might have to wait a bit. i can't make any promises so i'm uhm sorry about that." taehyung explained, smiling shyly at the boy in front of him. the boy nodded in response before walking away surprised the shy boy already had a boyfriend.
"okay, everyone in your seats. you have one more period and you're done for the day so let's make the most of it." the history teacher yelled, opening her laptop to begin the roll call.
