Beginnings (Sans x Reader) [DISCONTINUED]

Chapter 3- A Trip to the Doctor

You wake up to find yourself in a white room with blinding lights. They weren't exactly helping your headache. Where are you, anyways? It looks like some type of... doctor's office. It reminds you a little to much of the room Father kept you in. You wince as you sit up. Pain suddenly shoots through you, mostly in your right leg. You look down at it and see a bunch of bloody bandages. It looks like some one had wrapped it up hastily and obviously didn't remember to change the bandages. You look around, trying to distract yourself from your injury. You're in a small room that really does look like a lab. Or, part of it. There's no equipment or anything. Just a small room with a bed, a desk, and a cabinet.

'Its really cold in here,' you think, shivering. 'I'll freeze to death.' You notice you aren't wearing the same clothes. Instead you wearing one of those hospital things. How did you-? Its kinda creepy. You put your left foot on the ground and immediately pull it back up. The tiled floor feels like ice. You put your bare foot back on it and try to adjust to the iciness. After a couple seconds, You put your right foot down lightly. When you stand up, you put all your weight on your left, seeing as your right is, uh, non-functional. A wave of nausea washes over you. 

'How long have I been here?' you think. You kinda don't want to know. 

You try to walk. The first step goes pretty well. The second one... not so much. You topple over and fall to the ground. You hear the door open, and suddenly , there are two monsters standing in front of you. The smaller skeleton from before, and a yellow dinosaur/lizard thing. You scramble backwards and hit the wall behind you, wincing at the pain in your leg.

 "Oh-h! Y-your awak-ke!" The lizard says. The skeleton, wearing a blue hoodie, basketball shorts, and pink... slippers(?), looks genuinely surprised. You shift your gaze back over to the yellow dino/lizard as she rushes over to you. She bends down next to you and shines a flashlight directly into your eyes.

You blink in surprise. The skeleton seems to notice and comes forward as well. "Hold on Alph, she doesn't even know our names yet." he says. "Oh-h! You're r-right! I'm sorry, my n-name is Alphys." Alphys says. "Um, no problem. I'm y/n." I reply. The skeleton offers his hand. "I'm Sans, Sans the-" "skeleton," you cut him off, grabbing his hand. "I noticed." His hand feels oddly warm. Logically, it should be cold, right? The bone itself is pretty smooth, almost soft. Sadly the contact is quickly broken, preventing you from experiencing it any longer. Alphys looks at you and holds up the flashlight again. "M-mind if I-I check your v-vitals?" She asks.

~Le time skip~

After Dr. Alphys 'checked your vitals', she changed your bandages. You got a glimpse of your the wound itself. Jeez. It looks worse than it feels. The bullet wound is deep. "Your nausea is because of your blood loss," Sans explains. "I-I, uh, y/n?" you look up at Alphys. She looks like she is about to explode. Sans notices this and says "Welp I'm going" As he turns to leave, he gives me an almost sympathetic look. Then he just... disappears! You look to Alphys for an explanation, but she doesn't bat an eye. It must be normal. "I-I want-t to ask y-you something," says Alphys. "Alright, shoot." you say hesitantly. Whatever it is it must be pretty weird to run Sans off. 

"Um, I-I, uh....." You're about to ask if she's okay when she suddenly bursts out "DO YOU LIKE ANIME??!!" Wow. That was not what you were expecting. "Um, I never really get the chance to see much... I've never really watched TV." You say, your voice getting slightly quieter. Alphys doesn't seem to notice, she's too busy dragging you over to the bed. "Okay, sit here and wait. I'm getting my laptop! You need to watch Mew Mew Kissy Cutie!" She says and runs off. 

You've been here for hours watching anime with Alphys. She seems to have lost her stutter as soon as she started talking about it. It's nice. She seems so worried all the time, but she's worried over nothing! Alphys is one of the nicest people you've ever met, and the way she talks about her girlfriend, you're kinda jealous. When she asked you about your 'love life', it only reminded you about... it. "Well, I-I'm more into guys myself, but, uh, I didn't...I don't get to meet many new people." you said nervously, reminding yourself that as soon as you can walk, you need to get as far away as possible. As nice as this is, you need to return to your little cave. "Really!? But-t you're so nice! Where do you live, under a rock!?" Alphys replies. Funnily enough, that's accurate. Before she could question you further, the door opened. You look over and see Sans walking in, leading a new monster.

Wow. that took forever to write. It also had a buttload of info in it. I'm tired. Imma sleep. Sorry for mistakes that are probably there.
