Sans POV

"Food?!" she exclaimed, jumping out of her rolled up position. "yep, I went back to grillbs and got us some grub." I said, chuckling at her cute expression. Wait, cute? Huh. I guess she does look like a excited puppy. "Ohh! It smelled sooo good there, and I remember how good it was when I ate the there the other day, but I couldn't buy anything because you came in and I didnthaveanymoneyandididntwanttobeabotherand... oh I'm rambling again. Sorry." she said, blushing a bit.

"well, you certainly seem hungry. popcorn not fill you up?" I ask, nodding my head towards the bowl Alphys had left. "Popcorn?" she looks confused.

"uh, yeah. you did get some, right?" she only looks more confused. "B-but nobody told me I could have s-some." she said, obviously still confused. Oh, wait. Her 'father' barely ever fed her. She probably isn't used to getting a normal amount. Alphys was probably so focused on... that, she didn't notice that you didn't eat any. "o-ok. well then. you, uh, probably didn't know, but you could have eaten some. you don't always have to ask, ya know." I explain, trying to not make her feel bad.

It didn't work.

She blushed and looked down. "O-oh. Sorry for not-t understan-" I quickly cut her off.

"don't."

"Don't what?"

"apologize" This sure sounded a lot like dialogue from earlier.

"Why not? I-I mean, I was b-being stupid." I sigh and look at her. "you're not stupid. you're just... not used to it." I reassure. She nods her head and keeps looking down. Her shyness makes me hate. Hate the douche that hurt her. I feel my eye light involuntarily as I pull her into a hug. She tenses up a bit, but eventually melts into it, wrapping her frail arms around me and slightly squeezing me. I sigh again and close my eyes. "alright, kid. lets get some food into ya."

A couple minutes later, we were both eating and, as always, I offered her some ketchup. "Yes please!" she said happily. I can tell she is in love with Grillbys food. I was about to hand it to her when I remembered the cap. "one sec." I said pulling it back. I tightened the cap, deciding to spare her from the prank.

--------TIMESKIP BROUGHT TO YOU BY THE GREAT PAPYRUS!!!!!!!!!!!---------------------------

Your POV

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You still feel like an idiot. Sans was gone by now and you were lying in the bed you woke up in, feeling like crap. You've got to be more careful. Act like they do. The more you stand out, the more questions they have. More questions lead to more answers. Those horrifying answers can get them killed. And you're not very good at lying. Alphys, Toriel, and especially Sans are the nicest people you've met. And how have you repaid them? By running away, causing them to worry. You just need to stay here to not hurt them. Let them know -think- you're safe.

But times running out, and you know it. Your death is inevitable. It would probably be better to run away after all... then maybe they'd just remember you as 'poor unfortunate girl who happened to be at the right place at the right time.' You should probably get back to your cave anyways. The rations you bought earlier were probably spoiled by now, but you'd still take them. Actually, you should move locations. You've become too comfortable, too known here.

Pfffffffttttt. Like you're gonna get away that easily. You can only see two options for yourself. "Kill yourself or be killed." you mumble out load to no one in particular. "Well, I disagree! You see, my motto is teensy bit different!" A weird, almost child-like voice says. You sit up and look around. "W-whos there?" you say like a wimp.  "Down here, silly!" You look down and see and gold flower. With a face. "Howdy! My names Flowey! Flowey the flower!" maybe you were in shock, or maybe you were just insane, but you blurted out "Nice name. Very original." His face flinched a little from your comment, but you still felt bad. "What's your name? And why are you, a human, in a monster lab?" he asks curiously.

"Y/N."

The flower, Flowey, wrinkles his nose (??) at your obvious avoidance of his question.
