Castle: Their Story 1

Iron Gates

After that small party at their loft, it was time for Castle and Beckett get back to work. Castle was worried about Kate, he knew her well enough to know that she cant saty without moving or run round catching killers, he beeded to be there to protect her.

In the car

"Thank god Alexis borrow us her car" Becket said

"I know right?! but on the weekend we need to go choose a new one"

"oh shit Castle!!" She screamed

"what?" he asked

"Gates still didnt know about anything that happened and we didn't came to the precint yesterday, she is so gonna kill us!"

"We need to talk to her and explain everything or she's probably going to kill us"

"Im not going to be able to work anymore castle" Beckett said eoth her hands on her head

"why are you saying that? the doctor saod you can work but not to hard"

"And you think Iron gates, is going to think that way, her best detective with a risk pregnancy, she not leting me work till the baby born"

"Maybe you're right"

"Of course im right Castle! My life is over"

"Dont be so negative, if you dont work Im going home too ", remember?"

"Or not"

"why?"

"Castle dont forget that you now are a cop too, you cant just go home everytime you need or want to"

"right. But lets first go talk to her and then we'll see what happens"

"Ouchhh" Beckety screamed

"Whats wrong?" Castle asked worried

"My stomach hurts, it feels like somenoe is scratching me with knifes"

"The doctor said it was normal. do want me to take you home?"

"no Castle! Im fine"

But Castle knew she wasn't fine, he knew she didn't like to show any weakness in front of anyone, not even in front of him.

Inside the elevator

Castle could see pain all over her face, but she still denying she feel pain

"bling" the elevator make that annoying sound

"Hey guys" Ryan said

"Dont u need to rest Beckett?" Esposito asked her

"Im feel fine, so I came" she answer

Castle sent espo that look that said- she's not ok and she dont want to admit it

"ahh" beckett said

"Yup, you're really ok" Ryan whisperer but Beckett heard

"shut up" she order

"is gates here" Beckett asked the boys

"not yet" they answer in sync

"oh no, I think I need to throw up" Kate said already runong to the toilet and castle ran to help her

Castle and beckett were at the bathroom and meanwhile, Gates arrived and didn't saw them

"Are these two still missing work and not imformed me? do u know anything?" she asked them

"They're here, I mean in the bathroom" Ryan answer the question

"what the hell are they doing in the bathroom together?" she asked again trying to get some answers

"Look, they're coming, they will explain you"

"Oh they will! Mr. Castle and det. Beckett my office now

"its time" Castle whisperer to Kate's ear

"Good luck there" espo said as the got in the office

Inside:

"what happened yesterday? you two didn't showed up and you didn't even called me to explained the reason you missed work, if it wasnt for a good reason you'll be fired by tbe end of the day, so what are you excuses?"

"something really bad happend yesterday morning sir" Castle started

"Captain, Im pregnant again"

"Congratulations! but is that an excuse to miss work, and is that a bad thing?" She asked confused

"Sir, Castle and I were driving to the precint, we start fighting, I lose control of the car and we crushed on a street lamp, then detectives Ryan and Esposito showed up after Castle called them and Ryan noticed I had blood on my legs, I was bleeding, then I start feeling pain, Castle took me to the hospital, I get a suregy and hopefully they saved the baby, but I cant be under any kind of stress, cant carry weights, can run, cant do almost everything Im used too, and I'll have days the doctor said I'll feel pain" Beckett explaind and Castle gave gates the doctor paper

"Im so sorry detective, but are you feeling pain right now??" Gates asked

"No, sir" She answer and Castle coffed

She sent him the look

They were going out but Castle stayed in the captain office

"Can I help you Mr. Castle?" She asked when she saw that he didn't leaved her room

"Not me, but Beckett"

"what about her?" She asked

"Sir, you know how much Detective Beckett like her job, and she's a insistent person, I know her and I know today she woke up with pain, but she dont want to admit it, I want to ask you if can you tell her to go home, Sir im really worried about her health and our baby, can you do that, not for me, but for her" he said to Gates

Gates took her hands to her head, then look outside the glass windows and Castle was right, she could see the pain she had all over her face, this time she really felt she needed to agree with Castle

"Go and tell her to come here Mr. Castle" She answer

Beckett had been watching from the outside, and when she saw Castle coming she go on his direction

"What were you talking with Gates?" She asked confused

"Nothing important but she wants to talk to you again"

"about what?"

"I dont know" he lied

Gates talked with Beckett and when Beckett come out she looked at Castle, didnt say nothing take her thing and went to the elevator. Castle looked at Ryan and Espo and asked them

"did I do the right thing?"

"absolutely, you coudln't be more right Castle" Esposito said

"You're just worried, and we're worried too, but you just did the best thing to her" Ryan tell Castle

Castle went to Captain Gates to thank her

"you're welcome Mr Castle. But what the hell are you still doing here?"

"I cant go home, Im working"

"Oh dont be an idiot, Beckett need you"

Castle say his goodbyes to the boys but he didn't went home, he went downstairs to the morgue he want it to talk with Lanie, she could help him.
