Talk with Lanie

Later that night

Castle wasn't at home, he went take dinner with her new publisher, cause ha fired Gina, he thinks she was getting to obsessed with the work, so he found a new one.

Kate was making the dinner amd Alexis amd Martha were watching TV, then the ladys who were watching TV listened a sound so they looked back and they saw Beckett running to the toilet

"Oh know, she's going to throw up again!"Alexis said forgetting her grandma was next to her

Alexis ran to the kitchen amd got a glass of sugar water to give to her mother

When she get at her mother's toilet, Martha was already there helping Kate

"Drink some" Alexis said giving her mother the glass of water

"Thank's" Beckett answer

"Katherine" Martha started "Tell me something, are you pregnant?"

Kate was surprised

"how did you know?"

"well, you may have forgot, but I've been pregnant with your husband" Martha said smiling

"please don't tell him" beckett said

"Hey mom, why don't you go take a shower and then we all talk in the living room?"

"k" she answer

Alexis went to tje kitchen amd turn of the rice cause it was burning

At the same time, inside the shower, Beckett took her hands to her stomach thinking about the little life she had inside her, she started thinking when he/she would come to the world, the family she was building, without notice she was smiling.

When she sat at the sofa near Alexis and Martha they start talking:

"Why didn't you told Richard yet??" Martha asked

Kate explained her that she was afraid of what Castle could think, she was also afraid of being mother, she doesn't know how to be one, she had grown up without her, so she doesn't have a example, Beckett was scared.

Martha told her that no one is ready to become a Mother or father without first having his baby in hands, but Beckett still need help.

"Mum, have you talk to Lanie? I think she will be a good help, she always know how to make you feel better!"

"No I haven't, but you're right I should go talk to her"

"go" Martha said and Beckett take her things and took her way to Lanie's house

"Ding dong" the doorbell rang

"Kate?! what are you doing here, shouldn't you be home with you husband?" Lanie asked her friend joking "come in"

"Espo is not here right?" Beckett ask

"No he's not why?"

"Good" kate said sitting on the girls sofa "I need talk to you, it's a serious subject"

"it's about the case isn't it?" Lanie asked

"Actually no, listen you're going to love what I am going to said, I love it too, but I don't know what to do, I haven't told Castle yet"

"girl you're scaring me, what's going on?"

Kate took a deep breath and said

"I'm pregnant"

"Omg" Lanie scream " that's amazing you! why don't you tell Castle about this?" Lanie said hugging her girlfriend

Beckett told her the exact same thing that she had told Martha.

"Kate, Castle married you cause he loves you, and I am sure he will be really excited with the news, remembered when it was with benny?" Beckett smile "Kate go tell him, he will love you even more when he knows, and look at us, it'll be amazing, I never could imagine we would get both pregnant at tje same time, how far are you?"

"4 weeks, and you?"

"3 weeks, have you already ate your dinner? I'm really angry"

"no I haven't let's eat something, cause later I'll have to tell the news to someone I love" Beckett said

"I'm so proud of you" Lanie said
