She kicked a can as she walked. She wore a white button up shirt with a black pair of dress pants and shoes and she had her blue bell hair flowing down her back. It's not that she didn't like wearing skirts or that she was a transgender. She just hated wearing the skirts that the school has for the girl uniforms. She declares that they are way too short and aren't comfortable enough. So, many people actually misread this as being a transgender so not many girls or boys go near her and the ones that do usually have the wrong idea. She sighed. She doesn't have any friends because of her strange choice of clothing and she assumed that's how it'll be the rest of her life. "Why does everyone have to be so judge mental? They don't even know the real me." She walked down to the seashore which was outside the city. She slipped off her shoes and her socks. She placed those and her bag where they won't get wet. She pushed up her pants and then went to water and stuck her feet in.

She stared at her feet and wiggled her toes. She went in deeper and watched as the fish swam past her. She dipped her hands in the water and splashed it up and it came back down like rain. She giggled. She knew it was something a girly girl would do unlike what people saw her as. She stopped as a shimmer caught her eyes. She stared down at the water and tried to make out what she saw. She then bent down and started digging through the sand which startled some fish and made them swim away fast. Some just stayed where they were, completely calm. She dug, catching her knuckles on rocks which made them bleed a bit. "I swear I saw something. But it couldn't be this far down." She sighed, thinking she might give up but the shimmer caught her eye again. She started digging harder until she came to a small charm. It was light blue but in the middle was a dark blue seashell. She examined it. "This is pretty." She walked out of the water and back over to her stuff.

She dug there her bag and took out a string and strung the charm onto it. She then placed it around her neck. She beamed. "Wow! It looks great!" She took her phone out and glanced at the time which almost made her loose her balance. "Oh no! My dad is going to be so worried!" She quickly slipped on her socks and shoes, grabbed her things, and started running.  She ran into the city, passing many shops, houses, and other places. She then came to a small cabin which wasn't far from a giant apartment building. She walked into the cabin. "Are you home dad?" A tall man with black hair wearing a black suit peaked behind a corner. "There you are Zarya. I was wondering what was taking you so long getting home after school. Dinners not done yet but it will be in a bit." Her father disappeared to the kitchen. So, the girl went to the living room and threw herself on the couch. She grabbed the remote on the couch and started flipping through channels.

"Nothing looks interesting." She turned over on her back and laid upside down. "Why can't my life be like an action adventure? Or at least make me an Esper instead of a lowly level 0." The tall man with black hair walked in carrying two plates with pizza on both. "Hey sweetheart. How was school?" He laid a plate below the girl's head and he took the other one and sat down. Zarya picked up a piece of pizza and started munching on it. "It was fine." She handed the remote to the man sitting next to her. He took it eagerly, changing the channel to a crime show. "Looks like this just started." The blue bell hair girl nodded not paying attention to the t.v. She finished the pizza she was eating and she sat up. She picked up the plate sitting on the floor and stood up. "I'm not hungry right now. I'll eat the rest later, I'm gonna take it to my apartment to finish."

The man nodded. "Okay. I have a teacher conference tomorrow, so I'll see you after that." The girl didn't bother to show that she heard him as she picked up her bag and walked out of the house. She then went over to the giant building close to the house. She went up the elevator to her floor and then walked until she was close to the end of a balcony. She went up to a door, unlocked it with a key and walked in, shutting the door behind her. She walked into the kitchen which was on the right when you walked in. It was a small kitchen, having a fridge against the wall, an oven and stove, plus a small cabinet which a microwave on top. There was a very small to make things but she made it work.
