The limo pulls into a parking spot in front of the mall. A bodyguard steps out of the car and he opens the door for us. I step out of the car and wait for Leila to follow me.
When she steps out of the car she says. "Where do you want to go first?"
I shrug. "I will let you choose the place. I haven't been to this mall before."
Leila takes my hand and pulls me to the closest store. She turns towards her bodyguard. "Can you get them to shut the shop for us? I don't want people to see us trying clothes on and taking photos."
The bodyguard walks into the store and he speaks to the woman for bit before he walks over to is. "The Sales Assistant is going to ring up the following customers orders up before you walk in there. If there's any problems. Let me know and I will get you girls out of there quickly." He looks at me. "I don't want to deal with either of your partners. They are two of the worst guys in Los Angeles. They're the type you wouldn't want to cross in an alley." He looks at me. "How did you meet, Jai. "
"In an alley." His face pales and his mouth widens. I nudge Leila and start laughing.
She laughs as well. "Damn, I wish I had my phone."
I give her mine and she takes photos of the poor the guy.
She snaps a few shots before she sends the pictures to her phone. She smirks at him. "I want to remember your expression when I tell Ace this story."
We start giggling.
It feels good to start laughing again after everything that has happened recently in my life. I just hope that it can get back to normal soon.
The woman from the store closes her doors and she waves at the bodyguards. We walk into the store.
Leila and I look through the racks, until we find something we like.
The woman looks at me. "I know who you are? You're the home wrecker. The one that stole Jai Marshall from another woman."
I roll my eyes. "When will You people ever learn? The paparazzi are liars and they listen to jealous people. Jai..." I cut myself off.
I don't need to explain myself to this woman.
I look at the piece of clothing in my hand and I put it back on the rack. "Leila, let's get out of here. This store doesn't deserve our money. There's plenty of stores around that will have something better."
I'm not going to buy anything from here. She lost two customers when she brought that stuff up about Jai and I.
Leila nods. " I agree. There's better places here." She looks at the store owner. "I will be telling my friends about the service in this place. Also, my father will be hearing about this too." She grabs my hand and pulls me out of the door.
"What's your Dad going to do?"
"Dad, owns this place. He's made heaps of malls all over the world. A few aren't doing as well as this one, but I'm trying to fix up all the malls and get more people into them."
"Is there a cinema or a bar around here?"
Leila snaps her fingers. "I should look into getting them put here. Anything, else?"
"An art studio and a photography studio will be great here too, but I don't think those people will be able to pay for the space."
"Can you ask Jai if he could help us out?" She whispers. "I don't want Ace to know about these plans. He might use them for his own Malls."
