Prologue
This is how the human fell in love with the freak. Hi, I'm Keith Kogane. I am in foster care, I was disowned by my parents when I was a child, I like marital arts, and oh yeah, I have wings!
Chapter 1:
I was walking down the street, my wings safely hidden, when I saw him. A tall Cuban man with brown hair and ocean blue eyes. I've seen him around the school a few times, Lance I think was his name. He was beautiful I'll admit, but beauty is only skin deep. Than like me I tripped over a rock and spilled my coffee all over my shirt. 'Shoot' I thought getting up my shirt drenched in what was my Carmel macchiato. Than I noticed Ach I felt a sharp pain in my foot, I must've sprained it. Than I herd a voice that made me jump, " Hey, are you ok?" I turned my head to see Lance holding out his hand to help me up. I grabbed it and he pulled me up, " Thanks." I said than I turned and started to walk away only to when stepping onto my right foot stumble. Lance caught me befor I fell than said, " You must have sprained something. Let me take you to my house and my friend Pidge can fix it." He than lifted my arm over his shoulder and walked me to his house which was only a few blocks away.
