Fly with me (Klance)

chapter 30:

Keith POV:

I woke up to light beams dancing across the room from the window. I looked over at the automatic clock, 12:34. 

Shoot

I looked over at the sleeping boy next to me and gave him a nudge, " Hey, Avatar wake up we got to get to the airport."

His eyes fluttered open and he let out a yawn. 

I got up and  saw that everyone else was still asleep. I went to the mini kitchen and grabbed two of the coffee cups and started hitting them against each other. I managed to wake up Pidge but Matt, Shiro and Hunk we're still fast asleep. 

I looked at the now fully awake Lance and pointed for him to wake Hunk up. 

Lance nodded groggily and moved over to hunk, as I took a few steps towards Shiro, I looked down as he was fast asleep, of course....drooling. I let out a small sigh before I grabbed a pillow. I then took a deep breath before slamming it down on his face. I repeated a few times before his groggy form sat up, "I'm up." He mumbled.

"Good now hurry the hell up, we need to get to the airport." I said.

"What time is it?" I heard Hunk ask from across the room.

"It's 12:38 we need to be at the airport in less then an hour for our flight, and knowing traffic, we're gonna barely make it." I sighed.

Pidge moved room give a yawn and stretch as they grabbed their suitcase, "Well then, let's hurry up, I want to be able to grab some food before the flight, or I'll have to be stuck with their stupid pretzels."

I nodded, "yeah, yeah, up and at em everyone." I said, grabbing my jacket that I used to hide my wings. I slipped it on and zipped it up. My eyes trailed across the room as everyone scrambled to get their belongings packed up.

I spotted lance putting on his jacket and looking in the mirror with a small frown. I moved over quickly and wrapped my arms around him gently. "What's goin on?" I asked quietly  

He looked up at me and leaned into my embrace, "Just...a bit stressed, but hey, were going on an adventure, we may end up in the Bahamas." He gave a fake smile and a small chuckle.

"You have every right to be stressed, don't worry about that, but yeah, just do want you can, make fun out of this whole mess with your strange little brain." I said before placing a small kiss on his cheek. I then moved to turn around and look at the others, "okay let's get this freak show on the road."

Lance turned around with a small smile, and light pink dusting his cheeks, "hey- my brain isn't-" he mumbled and crossed his arms. 

I turned and grabbed my bag before turning to hold out my free hand to Lance.

He took it with a dopey grin, holding his bag in his hand. 

"Lets get this shit started" Matt said with a chuckle as he held both his and Pidge's bags. 

I gave an affirmative nod before walking out of the hotel room.  I glanced to see if anyone was in the hallway as I moved towards the elevator, holding Lance's hand as I used my knee to push the button for down.

The elevator opened and I moved inside as the others filed in behind me. Padgett moved forward, all sneaky like, and pushed the 1st floor button before sinking back into the flood of the gang.

The elevator began to move as I spotted Lance jump besides me. I gave him a questioning look, "what in the 7 circles of hell?" 

He chuckled, "it's what your supposed to do when the elevator starts moving dum drums."

We all stood in the very awkward confined space until we heard a ding at the 3rd floor. The door opened and a woman in a scarf, brown hat, and sunglasses stepped in. She wore a long brown trench coat, like she was trying to blend in, but failing miserably.

We all looked at her as she let out a sigh, "I knew you would be running late." The familiar  feminine voice spoke, as she removed her sunglasses.

Well god fuckin dammit, did it take me like two years to write another chapter, yeah it did sadly, but hey I got one out! I'm sorry for the delay, I've had a lot of personal struggles lately. But hey I'm here, I'm queer, and I am well newly taken so like whoop whoop. Also I have grown quite a bit as a writer so hopefully the quality is a lot better for this chapter, (cuz I'm ngl some chapters I wrote a while ago are kinda cringey). But that's enough self deprecatingness , how are y'all? I'm finna be like vibing in the comments till I fall asleep, so like imma talk to peeps. Also like anyone here know danganronpa? Cuz like it's pretty dam good, and like, my junko cosplay just came in the mail so I'm excited for that.
