Fly with me (Klance)

Chapter 22

It was all a blur the door came down and there was a whole bunch of Galra soldiers...No.
We all raced to upstairs where we have a hidden safe room. When we were about to go in I noticed something,Lance wasn't with us.
I looked at Shiro and said, " I'm going to get him."
I'm pretty sure he said no but I was already down the stairs so I couldn't hear him. When I got to the dining area I saw that Lance was gone.
I felt something go into my neck than I was out.

I woke up in the back of a van on the floor. I looked around and saw Lance. I scooted over to him and cradled him in my arms.
He had bruises on his arms and a few on his face. He tried to fight back. I couldn't decide if he was a good boy or just an idiot.
I than realized something once they figure out that he's human they'll get rid of him. I can't let that happen.
Than the door opened and a guard  came in. I took this opportunity, set Lance down and flew at the guard. I hit him so hard that in knocked him down I was on top of him about to nock him out when he shot me in the side. I knocked him out, grabbed Lance and with the last of my strength flew us both out of the truck and onto the side of the road. That's when everything went black.

Lance Prov

I woke up on the side of the road when I noticed blood. I looked over and saw Keith bleeding from his side. I lifted up his shoulder to see the injury and saw that he had been shot. I picked him up carefully, wrapped his wings around himself, and took him to the nearest house. Pidge, Hunk, and my house.
Pidge would most likely still be with Shiro so Hunk would be home. Pidge is a better Doctor but Hunk is the only one that knows how to remove a bullet.
The walk was long and extremely tiring but we finally got to the house.
I knocked on the door and Hunk opened it. He saw Keith and his eyes went wide.
I looked him straight in the eyes and said, "You know how to remove a bullet right?," He nodded, "Ok so long story short Keith got shot and he needs help."
Without another word Hunk took Keith and went to prepare for the surgery.
I decided that I should call Shiro to tell him that we were ok. I left my phone over at his house so I decided to use Hunks.  I punched in the number and pushed call.

Ring ring.....
Shiro: Hello?Who is this?
Lance: It's Lance. We got away but Keith got shot.  Hunk is getting the bullet out as we speak.
Shiro:We'll be there soon.
With that he hung up.
They got here five minutes later.  The only thing we could do was wait and hope that Keith would be alright.
