Chapter 18

Just because I love this song ^^^

I was sitting at the counter waiting for Lance. It was 5:25 and he said he would be picking my up at 5:30. I was shaking and there was no point of hiding it.  I was terrified of meeting lance's family.  I mean what are they going to think of me? Is Lance's dad going to get mad?
Shiro was out buying himself a pizza for dinner. I than heard a knock on the door. I opened it to see Lance with a big smile on his face.
He said, " You look great, " kissing my cheek.
I was wearing a rainbow shirt and some black jeans. I had on with my fingerless gloves and my red cropped jacket.
"Right back at you," I said kissing his nose.
He was wearing a light blue t-shirt, with blue jeans, and his long brownish green jacket.
We got in the car and started the drive to Lance's house. He turned on the music and clarity came on. He sang along to the entire song. I was way to nervous to even think about singing along.
When we got to Lance's house he parked in the driveway and turned to me.  He gave me a kind smile and said, " Hey, everything is going to go great. Their going to love you. "
I gave him a nervous smile.
He than asked sencerly, " What are you scared about most?"
I than said with a shaky voice, "About what your dad might do."
He gave a small smirk and said, "Well lucky for you he's not here. "
I looked at him confused.
He gave a nervous giggle and said, " After the 'incident' he went to stay with a friend. So lucky us he won't be bothering us at dinner. "
I took a deep breath and said, " Let's do this."
He unlocked the car and we both got out.
We walked through the door and Lance yelled, "Mama I'm back. And I have Keith."

A tan dark haired woman wearing an apron walked up and gave me a hug, "Hello Keith I am Lance's mom Melissa but you can call me Mel. "
I gave her a nod and Lance led me to the living area and pointed out people telling me their names, " This is Myra, Madison, Fin but we usually call her Phoenix, Melody, Asher, Jayon or Jay, Miria Jr or MJ, Marco, Violet, Lexi, Lilith, Hanna, Sam, Miria, Lana, and Victoria. "
I nodded already forgetting half the names. Sam than walked up to me and said, " Can I see your shirt?"
I unzipped my jacket to show him my rainbow shirt.
His dark blue eyes lit up and he ran past me upstairs.
I gave Lance a confused look and he just shrugged.
He came back down wearing a rainbow shirt. I gave him a high five and he went to sit down.
Mel than called from the kitchen, "Dinners ready!"
We all filed into the dining room and sat around a large table. I was in between Lance and Jay.
We all dug into Mel's amazing meatloaf. She than asked, " So Jay how is your science project doing?"
Jay gave a quiet good and Lance than asked smirking, "Did you find out that my hypothesis was correct yet?"
He just threw Lance a glare.
Lance whispered in my ear, "We usually have long arguments about this kind of stuff for fun. I don't know what's wrong with him. "

After we finished eating I saw Jay go and sit in a corner. Lance was about to go over but I put a hand on his shoulder and said, " Let me try."
He gave a nod and I went over.
I sat next to Jay and introduced myself, " I'm Keith your Jay right?"
He gave a nod.
I could tell that he was shy.
I placed my hand on his shoulder and looked him in the eyes, " It's ok you can trust me. Just because I'm here doesn't mean you need to hide. Just be yourself and pretend that I'm not even here. "
He gave me a nod and stood up. He walked over and grabbed some whipped. He than walked over to Lance and shoved it in his face when he wasn't looking and said, " That's for your stupid hypothesis. "
I let out a small chuckle. This kid is going to awesome on April Fools.
While Lance was cleaning the whipped cream off his face his little brother Marco came up to me and asked, "Are you Lance's boyfriend?"
"Not yet." I said with a light blush.
He was wearing an outfit similar to Lance's. Someone must admire his big bro. Lance than walked over and lifted him up on his shoulder. He than said, " Ok MarMar it's time for you to go to bed. Everyone else is already asleep. "
He than ran Marco upstairs and put him to bed.
Than there was a nock on the door.
Lance and his mom went to answer the door. Behind the door was a tall tan man with light brown hair and dark blue eyes. He looked a lot like Lance. Who could it...... His dad.
The man than saw me and said, " Who the heck is this."
Lance walked over to me and said, " This is Keith. "
He than walked over to me and Lance backed away. He grabbed me by my shirt and yelled, " So your the famous Keith! Never talk to my son ever again. Never ever ever. If you do, "
"Get out! Now!" Lance yelled.
His dad put me down and went to him. " What did you just say!" He said in a challenging voice.
He looked up at his dad and yelled, " Get out!," he than dragged his dad by the ear out of the house and yelled, "And stay out!"
Lance slammed the door and went to sit on the couch. 
I sat next to him and asked, " You ok?"
He gave a nod and said, "That felt good. "
He than looked up and said, " You ready to go home?"
Before I could answer his mom said, " A snow storm hit I don't think it's safe to drive. You'll have to stay the night. "
I nodded than pulled out my phone to call Shiro.
Shiro:" Hey Keith What's up?"
Keith:"So a snow storm hit and I'm going to have to stay with Lance. "
Shiro: " You know you could just fly here? Or do you just want to stay with your Boyfriend?"
Keith: " if I do that I might hurt myself or get hit with snow. And be quiet Shiro.  "
Shiro:"It's good I'm having my new 'friend' over tonight."
Keith:" 'Friend' sure. Anyway good night. "
Shiro: " Night. "      
Lance led me up to his old room which is now the guest room to find me some Pj's.
He gave me an old shirt that he doesn't wear so I could cut holes in them so ' wouldn't sweat to much' and some sweatpants.
We crawled into the bed and pulled the blanket over us. The blankets where thin so I wrapped my wings around him. He smuggled into them and we both drifted off to sleep.

First off thank all of your submissions for Lances fam.  I dug into a few characters in this chapter but I will also dig into more of them later on. I made his mom and dad. What do you guys think of this chapter? Who do you think Shiro's 'friend' is? Also for one of the characters I had to make them a Jr because there was another character with the same name.
