I got ready for school today like usual, but when I tried waving at Jaeden from across our windows he just put his window down and walked away. I thought he was just upset or sad about something so I just shrugged it off and pretended it was nothing. I walked downstairs to the smell of bacon and eggs.

"oh, good morning wyatt."

"good morning, mom."

"are you ready for school today?"

"what do you mean? you never ask this?"

"you have a field trip today. to go to the county's aquarium."

"oh no I forgot. give me a minute."

I ran upstairs, grabbed all the stuff out of my backpack and got a pen, grabbed all the stuff I needed like, snacks and drinks. I ran back downstairs as fast as I could.

"here you have to sign this." I said pointing at the paper.

"okay, is this the parent recognition?"

"yes."

"okay hurry up and get your shoes on. the bus is about to leave." she said handing me the paper back.

as I was putting my shoes on I was watching the news and it currently said it was 7:36 I'm so late, hopefully the bus won't leave before I get out.

"bye mom! love you!"

"bye honey!"

I finally reached the stop sign and saw Jaeden there already, I didn't know what to say.

"hey." I said waving.

he didn't answer. In fact, he didn't answer to anything I said, or did. even when I bumped him on the shoulder to know that he was okay, he didn't say anything at all. when I got to school I ran up to jack and finn.

"hey, guys is Jaeden okay?"

"I think so. why?" finn said.

"he wouldn't talk to me at all. not even when I bumped him on the shoulder."

"I have first period with him. I can ask and if he doesn't answer I'll just annoy the heck out of him." jack said.

"okay, thanks guys I gotta go."

        I walked to my first period class hoping I would bump into Jaeden. And it turns out my it was my lucky day. I saw Jaeden right there in the middle of the hallway not noticing that I saw him.

"jaeden! hey!" I yelled

"oh hey wyatt." he said dry.

"what's wrong? you seem like you don't wanna see me lately."

At that moment the bell rung scaring me and Jaeden.

"oh sorry I gotta go." he waved goodbye

"oh okay bye jae" I whispered, sadly.

I realized I was standing in the hallway alone after the bell rung and then I ran straight for my first period door. As I ran in the classroom the whole class looked at me and then I saw Finn waving at me like an idiot.

"where were you Wyatt Oleff?"

"oh I was at the principals office, I'm sorry." I lied through my teeth trying to get to my seat.

"okay that's acceptable"

As I sat down in my seat and she continued on with the class I noticed how Finn was ecstatic. He was as happy as a puppy on a rainy day, and that's happy.

"Finn? are u okay?"

"yeah bro why?"

"you seem happy and that's not normal." I laughed

"oh yeah jack made me happy"

"so are y'all dating now or what?"

"yeah did jack forget to tell you?"

"omg yes he did. I'm gonna kill him. anyway I'm happy for y'all. you guys really needed to get together at one point or another."

"thanks dude"

The second period bell rang and as I was on my way to the class I saw Jaeden... talking with johnny. out of all guys why johnny? this is confusing weren't we just dating?

"hey Jaeden! hey Johnny."

"hey wy" as he said that I noticed johnny whispering something in his ear.

"how are you guys today?"

"fine. why don't you go on with your business and leave us alone?" johnny spat out.

"oh okay well then bye"

     There was definitely something going on and Jaeden was not okay.

     While I was walking home I decided to stop by jaedens house before I walked into mine. I noticed that no one was home except him so I thought it'd be a nice idea to surprise him.

"hey jaeden"

"hi."

"what was going on in the hallway?"

"with johnny?" he asked raising an eyebrow

"yeah"

"um...nothing."

"Jaeden if something is going on I advice you to tell me. you know I don't want you to be hurt in anyway."

       He pulled me by my arm and dragged me inside. When we got inside he kissed me more patiently than before.

"Jaeden what was that for?"

"can't I just give u a kiss?"

"but you've been avoiding me all day"

"it's johnny. he threatened me to not talk to you. Im sorry he also told me I couldn't tell you about it." He said sobbing onto my shoulder

"that dick. I'm gonna kill him."

"no."

"what? why not?"

"I don't want you to get hurt."

"trust me I won't get hurt. the only one that's getting hurt is that big ass dick who made you do something against your will."

       Once me and Jaeden talked everything out we went upstairs to play Mario kart but halfway through the game he fell asleep on me so I got up and put a blanket over him and kissed him goodbye.

(a/n hey guys. I'm so sorry I haven't been updating. school and drama have been keeping me away. I just finished Eleanor and Park and now I'm reading The Alchemist. 10/10 recommend. anyway my computer got hacked so that's why this font is screwed up im sorry.)
