Aquamarine x Female Reader Pt. 6

This chapter takes place after Steven returns from Homeworld and when he made up with Connie at Kevin's party.

[Four days later]

Yn: "C'mon Aqua! You've been in the bathroom for three minutes!"

Aquamarine: "This idea of a dress is so childish!"

Yn: "I already received a message yesterday from Greg and the gems, they came back from their little "gemcation" two days ago, and they want me to have dinner with them, saying they have a surprise for me. Now come out already! I wanna see that outfit I got you."

Aquamarine: "Fine..."

The bathroom door opened, revealing Aquamarine wearing a black shirt, blue pants and a big hat on her head with windshield glasses.

Aquamarine: "Are you sure this attire will help me blend in?"

She asked, taking off the glasses.

Yn: "You want my honest opinion? You look absolutely adorable."

Aquamarine blushed dark blue as she adjusted her hat.

Aquamarine: "You really think so?"

Yn: "Totally."

She gave a thumbs up, checking her phone.

Yn: "Odd...I haven't received one message from anybody, especially Sadie...strange."

Aquamarine: "Well, we barely ever talk with your human friends at all these past few days."

Yn: "I guess your right, everyone's probably got business of their own."

She quit looking at her phone as she walked around Aquamarine, thinking of what else to change.

Yn: "Hmm, we covered up those blue clothes of yours, which are melded to your body...now its your gem we need to disguise."

She looked at the gem on her cheek, and snapped her fingers.

Yn: "I got it!"

She ran to her bedroom, bringing back a paint brush and a jar of paint.

Yn: "Hold still, this might tickle a bit."

Aquamarine: "Let's just get this over with already."

Yn placed the brush in the black substance, and moved to her gem, painting it black. It made her shudder a bit.

Yn: "Sorry."

Aquamarine: "That felt cold."

After she finished, she blew on it for the paint to dry faster.

Yn: "Viola! If anyone asks about the mark on your cheek, just say your into Amadeus."

Aquamarine: "Well, now that that's done, shall we be going now?"

Yn: "Not until we go over the plan first."

She said, taking out a notebook, beginning to write.

Yn: "First, you are not Aquamarine, you are...Marina! A distant friend of mine from Empire City to spend a vacation here."

Aquamarine: "Okay, and how do we get from this location to that huge temple of theirs?"

Yn: "Easy, your size resembles that of a child, no offense, all I have to do is carry you on my shoulders, the outfit will help fool the Beach City residents, except for the people you captured..."

Aquamarine thought hard about this. The odds of Yn's plan succeeding is perfect.

Yn: "Then, at some point after dinner, I will reveal you to the Crystal Gems, and explain everything that's happened."
