Old times

I was driving to my workplace after I brought Jae to kindergarten. I don't know what Jimin was up to, but he had told me that he'd be working as well.

I just don't know what exactly he works as, or where.

But I trusted him and that was the only thing that mattered.

As I parked my car in the parking lot, I spotted a familiar figure walking down the road towards the elevators.

I slowly began to walk in the same direction, since I had to take the elevators too.

As I reached there, I saw the person already standing and waiting for the door to open.

I stood right next to the familiar...guy. While I was looking straight ahead.

Then suddenly all of a sudden a loud 'bing' sound appeared as the doors to get inside the elevator opened.

Both of us got inside but when I was about to push the button to my floor, someone suddenly exclaimed: "Min-yeon?!" I jumped, not expecting this.

I turned to look at the person and to my surprise I was right. It had been indeed someone familiar. Kim Taehyung to be exact.

"T-taehyung." My eyes widened as I saw how much he had changed. He didn't look like a little playful boy anymore, but like a grown ass man, who was dripping in Gucci.

"Oh my god Min-yeon! I haven't seen you in years! How have you been?!" Tae asked in excitement. He was definitely really happy to see me again. Which surprised me, since we lost contact in a rather bad way.

"I've been great.." I said calmly with a small smile on my face. Trying to get rid of the awkwardness surrounding me.

"That's great-" but all of a sudden he suddenly stopped talking, as it seemed like he was in deep thoughts.

"Uhmm..Tae?"

"You were pregnant.." he murmured in a shocked state.

"Yea I was. But are you okay? You look pale."
I asked him.

"By him..." he kept on murmuring things under his breath, which made it impossible for me to understand something.

"What did you say? I'm sorry I didn't hear you."

"Oh! Uhm..nothing. So did you, you know.. give birth?" He asked obviously unsure.

"Yes I did." I nodded and his eyes became big in a split. "R-really!?"

"Yes. His name is Jae and he's now four years old."

"It's a boy.." Taehyung said.

"Yes it is."

"A-and what about..uhmm...." he started to become nervous as he wasn't sure how to end his sentence.

"About..what?" I asked him.

"About his father.." he sighed, then added "are you still in touch?"

"Actually-" and suddenly the elevator door opened at my floor. "Oh..Uhm..it was nice seeing you again Taehyung, but I have to take my leave now, or else I'll be late."

I smiled at him as the only thing he did was nodding.

And so I walked off into a fully packed workday.

~Taehyungs POV~

She was about to say something. I'm sure of it. But what?

I groaned in frustration as I thought of Jimin.
That bastard. If he's going to hurt her again.
I'll kill him this time for sure!

Min-yeon is so kind and adorable she deserves better. I should be the one on her side. Not this ill tempered psycho.

I got outside the elevator as I reached my destination. I've been working here for years now and got promoted several times. I managed to build myself an empire which is so big, I could give her anything. I'm the right hand from the CEO of the company, I can do anything and everyone if I want.

I need to find out everything about Min-yeon.

~Min-yeons POV~

As I was finishing up and about to make my way outside the company to my car.
A voice held me back.

"Min-yeon!" Someone shouted from behind. I turned around just to see Taehyung standing there with two cups of coffee in his hands.

"I thought we could go together." He said as he he flashed his beautiful smile at me.

"Oh..uhm sure but I came with my car, what about yours?"

"Don't worry. I'll tell my driver to handle it."

"Sure then, why not."

"If you don't mind." I said "I have to pick up Jae from kindergarten-"

"Sure! I'll join you." He cut me off.

I rang the door bell and it opened as a caretaker opened the door for me and Taehyung.

"Oh Mrs.Lee, Jae is playing with his friends I'll call him. Please come in."

Taehyung and I went inside while he looked around examining the room.

"Mommy!" A little voice squealed through the halls.

"Jae!" I bend down and opened my arms for him. He sprinted onto me in seconds. Like he always would if I was to pick him up.

Sometimes Jin would pick him up due to my work.

"How was your day?" I smiled as I carried him in my arms. "Great! We played so much- huh? Who is he Mommy?"

He looked at Tae who was biting his lips.

"I am-"  he was about to say something when Jae cut him off. "Is he one of daddys friends??"

"What? no." Tae said as he furrowed his brows.

"Daddy huh." Tae looked at me.

"Yes Taehyung. Jimin and I are back together. He is Jaes father after all and besides that.."

"Besides what?"

"I love him Taehyung."

He looked down and seemed hurt but plastered a smile on his face again leaving me in confusion. "Well..I'm happy when you're happy" he said.

"But I have to go now. It was nice seeing you again and meeting you Jae." He smiled and waved at Jae who did the same with his tiny hands. "BYEEEEEEE!" He nodded his head before walking off.

"Will we go home now mommy?"

"Sure baby." He smiled when I kissed his chubby cheeks.
