I pulled into the boathouse parking lot 2 minutes after I had I would get there.

Finding a parking spot, I hopped out of the car and locked it.

It didn't look like anyone was around. Where was everyone.

"Hello?" I called.

"Over here!" A big voice called from behind an even bigger boat.

I recognized the voice as Al, the owner of the boathouse.

"Hey Al! Have you seen Gr-"

A pair of hands covered my eyes,"Guess who?"

I giggled,"Hmmm, let's see...could it be...Grant?!" I pulled the hands off my face and spun around to be met with a kiss.

"Correct. And might I say you are looking stunning as always today."

I blushed,"you always know what to say to me."

"I try, thank you for noticing." He grabbed my hand and we started to walk to his boat.

This was my favorite boat in the whole marina. It was big enough to fit about five people but not to big for less than that. It was white with a blue stripe around the top and a blue sun shade.

"Shall we?" Grant asked, offering his hand to lift me onto the deck.

"We shall." I took his hand and he hoisted me over the side.

After I was on and sitting in the seat next to the drivers seat, Grant jumped on and plopped down next to me.

"Where to my love?" He said putting his favorite SnapBack on with one hand and putting the other around my shoulders.

"Surprise me."

"Well that gives me a variety of places, exciting." He turned on the boat and we slowly cruised out of the marina.

-

"So how have you been since the last time we were together?" Grant asked looking out ahead.

"Let me think? Since yesterday, I've been grand."

"Always good to hear. I have also been wonderful."

I giggled. We were so weird sometimes, but I loved it.

-

After cruising for awhile I got up from my seat and moved to the front of the boat to lay down and tan.

I am naturally tan but what's getting a little darker gonna do.

I slipped my white shorts down and lay on the seat.

"And if you would look a bit a head folks," Grant said pretending to speak through a microphone," you can see a beached whale."

"I'm gonna kill you." I said and he started to laugh his head off.

-

It was about noon now and I was just about to get up when a boat came up besides us.

The boat was full of teenage boys that looked about our age.

One of them whistled,"Damn, look at that body."

I rolled my eyes.

"Hey excuse me, maybe you can't tell but she has lovely eyes too, and I'm her boyfriend." Grant called to the one who whistled, flicking him off.

I laughed and Grant sped the boat up and we flew away from them.

"Thanks." I said to Grant, kissing his cheek.

"Anything for you Beth."

"So," I said changing the subject because I was dying to know,"where are be going?"

"Almost there."

After about 5 more minutes Grant stopped the boat near a small section of land that jutted from the rest of to shore.

We came here all the time and had "claimed" it as our own.

"Well I thought it would be a nice idea to go swimming on this hot summer day so..." He came over to me and picked me up princess style.

"What are you doing?" I asked, already knowing the answer.

Next thing I new I was flying off the boat into the clear water, followed by Grant.
