We drove to the pier and Grant parked the car close to the entrance to the fair because he knew I hated to walk far. How lazy am I right?

Grant jumped out of the car and ran over to my side to open the door for me.

He helped me out of the car and help my hand as we walked down the pier and through the entrance.

"Where do you want to go first?" Grant said looking around at the various arcade games and rides.

I looked for about two seconds then spotted my favorite ride, the tea cups. Grant hated this one with a passion but I loved it.

Grant rolled his eyes,"Do we have too?"

I have him my puppy eyes I used to get things I wanted.

"Fine."

I excitedly pulled him to the ride and we waited in line.

We didn't have to wait to long because not many people were in line. When it came to be our time to go on the ride I pulled Grant to a tea cup and we sat down. The ride started and I twisted the black circle in the center of the cup, laughing at Grants horrified face.

After the ride ended we stumbled down the ramp and I held onto Grants arm to keep from falling over.

Laughing we walked thought the crowd of people milling around the fair. It was mostly kids and their parents but I didn't care because I was happy and with Grant and that's all that matters.

Grant suggested we get some food and I agreed being hungry as always. I got blue cotton candy, my favorite, and Grant got cheese fries, which of course he let me have some of.

We ate our food on a bench that looked out over the ocean and then Grant said he wanted to go on the Ferris Wheel.

It was my turn to roll my eyes but I agreed because admitingly I did want to do something calm for a bit.

We stood in front of the cart as it slowly made it's way towards us then hopped on right before it hit the back of our knees.

The cart rose up and we stopped a few times on the way up to let other people get on and off, finally we stopped at the top.

I scooted close to Grant and he wrapped his arm around me, setting his chin on my head.

I looked out over the ocean as the sun set, tinting the water orange.

"Hey Grant?"

"Yeah Beth."

"Where were you the past few days? You left so suddenly. I was worried."

He didn't say anything for awhile,"I was just visiting some family friends."

"Isn't that kind of weird that you left so, out of the blue?"

"My mom just told me when I got home the other night so I didn't really have a choice okay?"

"Yeah okay, I'm just glad your back."

He squeezed his arm and I started out at the many swirling lights of the fair and we slowly descended.

The operator helped us off the ride and we walked away down the busy pier back towards the entrance.

We were getting closer and closer to the entrance when I stopped dead in my tracks.

I looked at Grant and he gave me the death glare.

"No, Bethany no I am not going on that ride again."

"Please! Just once more!!"

I tried pulling him towards the big twirling tea cups but he wouldn't budge.

Finally he moved and I squealed pulling him back onto my favorite ride.

We spun around crazily once more and I was so glad Grant loved me enough to do it again, it would have been boring without him.

And once again we stumbled off the ride and down the ramp.

I was smiling so much it hurt my face after awhile,"Now we can go."

I started walking back to Grants car and I noticed he wasn't next to me.

"Grant?" I asked spinning around.

I saw him stagger over to the bench missing it and falling to the wood.

"Oh my god Grant!!" I ran to him and helped him onto the bench putting my hands on his cheeks.

"Grant are you okay, what happened."

I look into his eyes, concern in my own.

"I...I guess I just got dizzy." He said putting his own hands on top of mine.

He looked into my eyes and I could tell he could see I was concerned,"Bethany, I'm okay really, do you want to go now."

I knew it would be pointless to make him sit for awhile longer so I just nodded and took his hand as he stood up. He wrapped his arm around my shoulder and we walked out to the car.

I did convince him to let me drive back to my house.

When we got back, he walked me up to the front door, and spun me around to look at him.

He looked down into my eyes and I looked up into his.

"Beth, don't worry about me."

"Grant I know you've just been so-"

"No Beth. It's okay. Don't say anything okay."

"Okay."

He smiled and pressed his lips against

mine,"I love you so much."

He hugged me and I walked into my house smiling as I closed the door.
