"Dammit!" Prue yelled, throwing her math book at the wall.
Frustrated tears filled her eyes as she stared at the hole the book caused. She shook her head and ran her fingers through her hair. She stood up and decided to take a walk to calm herself down. Grabbing her phone, she makes her way into the living room, kissing the twins' foreheads before making her way out the door.
Camila and Normani watching her leave in confusion.

"She got mad at her math homework." Emilia's flat voice came from behind them. "I heard her."

"Come here baby." Camila says softly, turning and holding her arms open for her daughter.

Emilia's eyes looked dull and tired as she walked closer to her mom.

After a few minutes, Camila is holding Emilia on her lap and rubs her back. "He's going to be okay, you know what the doctor said."

"Doesn't stop me from missing him." Emilia muttered.

"I know, but the doctor's are taking great care of him. Just think, two more months and we can get him." Camila said softly, kissing Emilia's forehead.

Emilia closed her eyes. "I want him now. I miss having him lying next to me in bed. I miss taking him for walks and playing with him. Hell, I even miss his annoying snoring." She said weakly.

"I know, tell you what, why don't you and I go out and get him a friend for when he comes home?" The Cuban asks, holding Emilia close.

"A friend?" Emilia asked.

Smiling, Camila runs a hand through her daughter's hair. "Yes, we can go to the pet store or the pound right now. What do you say?"

"I don't know, I don't want Rocco to feel betrayed, but he does miss Buttercup and so does mom." Emilia thought for a moment.

"We can either get another kitten or another dog." Camila responds immediately. "Or both, I kinda want to surprise your mom with a kitten."

Emilia looked up from her hands. She took a deep breath and nodded. "Okay."

"Go get changed and we'll go." Camila says softly, tapping Emilia's side.

Emilia nodded and got off of Camila's lap, running into her room, a huge smile on her face.

"What's she so happy about?" Lauren asked as she walked into the room, passing Emilia on the way in. "I haven't seen her this happy in weeks."

"I'm going to take her out for a bit, try and get her mind off of Rocco." The older girl responds, standing up and grabbing her keys.

Lauren nodded. "That's a good idea. She needs some bonding time with you. She needs her mama."

"That she does." Camila says, kissing Lauren and then Normani quickly.

Emilia appeared in the doorway. "I'm ready." She said, her voice sounded slightly happier.

"I found the perfect one." Camila says, holding up a mostly white kitten with touches of brown, tan, and black on its head and tail.

"That looks almost like Buttercup." Emilia gasped. She ran her hand along the kittens fur.

"Meow." The kitten bumped its head against Emilia's hand, it's light green eyes sparkling.

Camila grins, carrying the kitten with them as they walk. "Why don't you pick out your puppy?"

Emilia nodded and walked slowly over to the the puppy pen. She leaned over to look at the puppies.

A beagle-rottweiler mix jumped up, barking softly and wagging it's tail.

Emilia smiled. "Hey, little fella." She reached out her hand and patted the puppy.
