Chapter 5

{Kiara Harolds}

        "Girls, we have a problem," I say to Chloe, Katie and Amber. Chloe twirls her hair and rolls her eyes. I sigh and grab a slice of pizza from the pizza box. She snatches it from me and starts to wolf down the whole Hawaiian flavored Italian food.

        "What is it?" Amber asks. We all gathered in my house. I called the girls out because... We have a problem. Mel- Well, Jack too, knows about her fake eye problem.

        "Mel and Jack found out." I tell them. Chloe stops eating. Amber's and Katie's eyes widen.

        "They found out that all of us planned together?!" Katie says.

        "Fortunately, they only found out that the eye problem was fake. But this is like a warning, girls. We can't let them find out about us. Or my thing with Jack, will end." I say to them. Jack is the one who keeps me clean. The one who sees me as this pitiful, kind girl and I don't want our relationship to end this way.

        "Uh, Kiara?" Katie sits near me. She then smiles nervously.

        "What?" I ask.

        "Er... Before our first class, we went inside the comfort room and Amber texted Mel sarcastically, telling her we were worried. But after she sent that text, we kind of heard a cell phone ring in one of the stalls. Maybe someone heard about us." She explains. I glare at each one of them. These idiots don't know how to keep their mouth shut, can they?

        "You three morons!" I yell at them. They all look down."What if someone will tell Mel, huh? What are we gonna do about it? What do you think will happen to me? Wait no, to each one of us!"

        "Why would anyone tell Mel? No one likes her so no one will care," Chloe finishes her last bite of the pizza.

        "But what if..." Amber looks away and then turns her head to us slowly. "What if... It was actually Mel inside the stall?"

        The three of them gasped. I give them a cold look. "What if it was Mel? What if you all three of you will get me into trouble? What will happen, huh?" I scold them."We need another plan. Jack can't get any closer to Mel or he'll find out. I need him to stay close to me at all times."

        "Hmm..." They all look around my room, thinking. Then an idea popped into my head. "I got it!" I shouted. They looked at me. "What? Tell us!"

        "Clington High Seniors' Camp! I heard we're going out of state and were the first batch to go to another one too." I said excitedly.

        "And how are you and Jack going to stay together at all times?" Chloe points out. I turn to her and tap her shoulder.

She looks at me, confused.

        "It's just simple, sweetie. I get to choose Jack as my partner. Partners in the camp have to stay with each other at all times except for sleeping and going to bathroom. And we'll live happily. Ever. After." I give them a grin. They all give a an agreeing smirk on their face.

        "Good morning, Clington High Seniors!" A voice booms at our classroom speakers. Each one of us in class covers of ears."This is your headmaster speaking, Mr. Davanchi. Now as you all know, very soon... We will have... Our Seniors' Camp 2014!"

        The whole class goes crazy and Mr. Goode tries to calm us down. Seniors Camp! The most awaited event of the school's senior year. I go over to Penny, the nicest and the only cheerleading friend I have left. I use to bully her a lot before but now were friends. Not very close though, but friends.
