Chapter 23

Graduation just ended. I was happy. Everyone was happy. After we all threw our caps in the air, I walked towards Chloe, Katie and Amber. Their eyes widened as they saw me.

"Hey guys. Congrats!" I said as I give each one of them a hug.

"Um... Thanks." Katie says awkwardly. "You too."

I sigh. "Look guys, forget about what happened in the past okay? I just hope we got that cleared up." I replied.

"About that..." Chloe began.

"We're sorry, Mel. We regret it. A lot. I mean, we were your friends and it was unfair for us to do that." Amber continued.

"And... We really did enjoy with you. We just didn't want to show it." Chloe finished.

I smiled as I spread my arms. "You guys!" I giggled as I wrapped them in a group hug. "I forgive you."

After clearing up with them, I made my way towards Will. He was talking to Penny. As Penny noticed me, she excused herself. I forced a smile as I placed my hand on his arm.

"Hey, congratulations Mister Valedictorian." I smiled.

He suppresses one, which made me feel better. "Thank you, Miss... Cheerleader?"

"Eh, I quit." I replied. He laughed. "Look, Will-"

"It's fine, Mel. I get it. You love Jack, not me. I'm okay now." He said.

"Thank you." I mumbled. "But we are friends, right?"

"Of course we are." He smiled as he pulled me into a hug. "But in case he breaks your heart Mel, remember I'm just a phone call away. In case you'll change your mind."

I pulled away as I hit his chest playfully and chuckle. I feel an arm wrap around my waist. "I don't think there's a need for that, Butler."

"Jack." Will nodded at him. Will bids us goodbye as he left Jack and I alone.

"So Meg is throwing a grad party at my house. I asked if I could bring along a friend of mine." I told him.

He pulls away and frowns. "Friend?"

"Yeah, a close guy friend." I shrugged like it was nothing.

"We kissed like for three times and I'm just your close guy friend?"

"Well, it seems like that's how you want it to be."

"I thought you already got the picture." He replied which made my heart flutter.

"I didn't get the message." I crossed my arms as I turned back and started walking away.

"Wait... Wait!" He called out as he ran after me. I turned around, still crossing my arms as he breathes heavily. "Melanie... Fox... Will you be... My girlfriend?"

I smiled as I wrapped my arms around him and place my lips against his. He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer to him. "Of course Jack." I mumbled between kisses.

"I love you so much." He says as he pulls away.

"I love you so much too." I replied. And I meant every word of it.

One more chapter! I'm sorry if this is short but that's basically how I make them short but quite juicy. I'm going to miss you all!

Who's hyped for a sequel by the way? I don't mind as long as at least 5 people want to have a sequel.
