"Before you marry a person, you should first make them use a computer with slow Internet service to see who they really are." — Will FerrellChapter-8
Azura's POV
"Girl I am telling you this is the best night of my life." , a pregnant women named Caroline screamed out aloud taking a dip of her Orange juice acting as if it was some vodka.
And here I am sitting in the V.I.P area of the club enjoying my night . Few men also asked me for a dance but I declined it politely.
As I was taking small sips of my champagne, my eyes caught something.
Joshua and Lauren.
Both of them were grinding against each other. They looked happy.
Guess they were a match.
Both cheaters.
Both liars.
Lauren had a bump showing. Tears started brimming in my eyes as I looked at Joshua. He looked happy.
Why wouldn't he be?
He was going to a father for the second time.
My heart clenched as I thought of Phoenix.
I still had some feelings for him.
Why not?
He was my first love after all.
"Excuse me!" , someone said from behind.
"Yes?" , I asked looking at a man who was dressed in a black suit.
"This is for you mam. " , He said handing me a note.
Before I could ask him any question he walked away.
Who gives a fuck
About your first love.
Give a big round
Of applause to your
Second love,
Because they taught you
Love still exists.
After you taught it
Never could again.I don't know what to do. To smile or freak out.
This is crazy.
Literary.
I looked around to see who it was but nobody was there.
I went towards the bar and ordered myself some shots.
I need to get drunk.
I need to forget.
Even if it is for sometime.
All I wanted now was some relieve.
I wanted to be away from this misery.
And there it came.
First shot,
Then second,
Third..Almost making me lose the count.
Standing up I made my way towards the dance floor.
And I let my inner dancer take over.
I was grinding on the dance floor against some high school boy, when he was suddenly pushed away from me.
