Chaptet 4

James POV*

Just sitting here like normal watching my girlfriend who could possibly be slowly dying in front of my eyes. Today was going okay I sang her favorite song to her. When all sudden things started going all wacky on the machines that were hooked up to her. I panicked and hit the nurse/doctor button. The nurse and the doctor came running in with their eyes wide. The doctor say "uh no James you have to leave now!" I say I'm not leaving now I'm saying here! I have been here for a year and half and I'm not leaving!" the Doctor says you have to leave now or she is gonna die for sure!" my eyes got really wide and I say "I'm not leaving the room! I will be in the bathroom!" the doctor just shook his head at me and I walked into the bathroom and shut the door. I can hear the machines spazzing out for another five minutes and I think to myself. "Come on Katie you're strong fight this my angel is strong fight it!" what feels like forever the doctor opens the door and says "James she is fine now but you have got do something to get her to move on her own in some way. If she doesn't do that in the next 24 hours I'm afraid you're going to have say good bye to her forever." I stand up fast and run out of the bathroom and straight to Katie. She is still lying there looking lifeless. I can't take this anymore I have made my decision if Katie doesn't wake up in the next 24 hours I am gonna kill myself. I accidently said that out loud and the doctor says "you will not do such a thing!" I turn around and looked at him. I say "You don't understand Katelyn Grace Knight is my life! I love her with every bone in my body and all of my heart! If she is gone than so am I!" the doctor says "James! I can lock you up in a room and put you on suicide watch if you don't stop this." I say then go ahead and do it but if Katie dies then so am I and you can't stop me! The only way for me to still be alive is with Katie living in a nice house hopefully married someday with kids!"

*scream*

all of sudden I heard this screaming it sounded like it came from behind me. I turned around super quick and the scream happened again it coming from Katie. I look at the doctor and say "DO SOMETHING!" the doctor says "there's nothing I can do it's a side effect from the coma and it may be a sign that she is closer to waking up." I say "is she screaming because she is hurt? Why is she doing that?" Katie screams again but louder this time like ear piecing loud. The doctor says "I'm not exactly sure she has different symptoms than any other patient in a coma. Katie screams again at that same pitch from before. That hurts not only my ears but inside to know that my perfect little angel is hurting and there's not big I can do about it........
