Shin: fix ko muna things ko…ang dami eh….
Ian: (smiled) I’ll help you with that…
Shin: No need…I can manage…
Ian: I insist…(tinulungan pa rin si Shin)
Shin: (smiled) uyy…thanks…
-ian helper her packing her things-
-after packing up-
Ian: See! we’re done! eh di mas mabilis!!!
Shin: hehe…medyo madami…sorry…
Ian: hehe…wala un…uhm…want to eat? bibili lang ako sa canteen? aren’t you hungry or something?
Shin: okay lang ako…baka ikaw nagugutom na? hehehe….
Ian: dib a hindi ka naman kumain kanina? (concerned)
Shin: hehe…pero hindi pa naman ako nagugutom...
Ian: No buts shin…(smiled) just stay put, I’ll buy something to eat for us…mahaba-haba din byahe natin eh,,,
Shin: thanks…
-Pagbalik ni Ian-
Ian: here…pizza…
Shin: hmm…ian. let’s go na, sa van na lang natin kainin yan, baka gabihin tayo eh….
Ian: ah…yeah…sure…para mabigyan na din natin ung driver..
Shin: tama! hehe
-Pagsakay nila sa van-
Shin: Ian, naiwan pala ni Sophia ung bag nia…
Ian: hehe…that’s usual…makakalimutin na yata anak ko…hehe…
When she was fixing Sophia’s bag, shin noticed a picture beneath the bag. She stared at the pic and held it.
Shin’s POV: ito kaya si Ysabel? she’s stunning…haaayyy…
Shin: uhmm…Ian?
Ian: Yes Shin? (looked at Shin)
Shin: (gave him the pic) Is this Sophia’s mom?
Ian: Huh?! (tingin sa hawak hawak ni Shin)
Shin: IS this Ysabel?
Shin: Here…(referring to the picture)
Ian: (kinuha ung picture) yes…she is…(smiled)
Shin: (fake smile) ah….maganda siya noh?she must be really nice…
Ian: absolutely….When I went to Canada, as in wala talaga akong kakilala…thanks to her, hindi ako nahirapan mag-adjust….She was my very best friend back then …
Shin’s POV: (while lookin at Ian) siguro napunan nia lahat ng pagkukulang ko sa’yo… :’(
Ian: (looking at the pic) Siya ung nagturo sakin na bumangon muli….She was really an amazing woman….a lady with a beautiful heart, a friend with a helping hand…She was always there for me…always willing to listen…She’s the one who taught me not to give up when all the things were breaking down. She’s a fighter til the end.
With that, Shin thought that Ysabel had already replaced her in Ian’s heart; she thought that she had filled all the emptiness in his heart, that she is really the one meant for Ian…She doesn’t know how hard it was for Ian to pretend that he’s happy even though he’s not…She doesn’t know that she is still the one who holds his heart. Shin is unaware of the real scenario.
