Waking Up

A/N: Please Read!

So as you might've noticed I missed a day (yesterday) once again. Cue the excuses.

First of all I have a few other stories I was working on and one seemed too similar so I started to brainstorm ideas. I lost track of time was unable to post yesterday. I also want to acknowledge the fact that I'm in middle school.

I have lots of homework. I'm sorry about my schedule. I will try to keep up with the daily posts. There will definitely be days I slip up. If this happens I'll do my best to get it done. Anyways on with the story. 

Sophie's POV

I started to wake up. I slowly flutter my eyes open and notice I'm on the coach in my living room. I feel something warm near me so I scoot closer.

Then I realize it's Fitz. He starts to wake up. He notices me looking at him and pulls me closer. I put my arms around his waist and he puts his arm on my shoulder. I snuggle my head into the crook of his neck and fall asleep.

The next time I wake to the sound of squealing and people saying 'Aw'. I decide to transmit to Fitz.

Fitz?

Ye...yeah? I can tell he is sleepy.

Whatever you do don't open your eyes or move.

Why? There is another loud squeal before he says Oh

Yeah. She woke me up.

Well we might as well get up sooner or later. 

I guess so. 

We both open our eyes to our parents and a squealing Biana. I also notice Dex, Keefe and Linh on the other couches while Tam is in the corner.

" Aw did we wake you two lovebirds up?" Biana asked. " Well sort of. You woke me up with a loud squeal and I woke Fitz up while transmitting." I explained.

" What happened? When you collapsed at Havenfield we found you with burn marks." Edaline said. I looked at Fitz then back at them.

" We were attacked at Moonglade. We fell asleep. When I woke up we were surrounded by fire. It was Fintan and Ruy. We were lucky to have escaped." A few people gasped. 

Do you want to go sit by Calla's tree?

Yeah let's just tell our parents.

We told them and went to sit by her tree. Then Fitz kissed me. I kissed back. It seemed to last forever. We only pulled away to breathe before we kissed some more. 

After a little while I said " We should probably head inside." He nodded and we headed up to my room. We talked for hours but he had to leave for dinner. As soon as I walked downstairs my parents started asking questions.

" So how are things between you two?" Edaline asks? I groan as I say " Moooommmmm!"
