A/N: There will be another time skip this chapter because they will have the wedding which is after a few months. Also I have decided for twins. I want to pretend that the council are okay since they are the world's most powerful telepaths so nobody thinks it is bad.
Sophie's POV
The wedding day has finally come. Of course Biana being my maid of honor made everything perfect.
I put on my wedding dress and looked in the mirror.

Biana put on light make up since she understood I didn't want a lot. For my hair it was just curled because I liked it simple.
Everyone went to put on their bridesmaid's dresses and when they came back they looked beautiful.

*Skip to the vows*
"Wow. When I first saw you in the museum that day I never thought I could lead to this. Back there I was an outcast and never felt like I truly belonged." I paused.
"You brought me here and I finally felt like myself. I felt like I belonged. I thought that you would never like me back so when we became cognates I was terrified." I laughed a little.
"Never in a million years would I have thought you liked me back. You have saved my life for more times then I can count. You even did the unthinkable and fixed my mind when it broke. I could not imagine any other way to spend my life then with you."
I knew I was tearing up a bit but so was he. "How did I land myself with such a wonderful girl. We have been dating for what 5 years? I never thought I would have the guts to ask the girl of my dreams to marry me."
"There is no where I would rather be then with you and our beautiful children that is ours. I know that together we can accomplish anything."
We both said our I do and kissed.
*The next day*
We were about to leave for our honeymoon when I felt water go down my leg. We were still in the lost cities.
"Fitz!" I screamed to him upstairs before falling down. He came running down before asking a million questions. "My water just broke take me to Elwin!" I screamed.
When we arrived I asked to speak to Elwin alone. "Yes Sophie?" He asked. "I need to know I can trust you." I said. "Of course you can what's wrong?" He asked.
I bit my lip before saying "If it comes down to me or the twins I need you to promise no matter what to save the twins." He looked shocked and stayed quiet.
Tears were pouring down my face "Promise Elwin!" I screamed crying. "I promise." He whispered. "You can't tell Fitz. You can't let him know or he'll try to save me over the twins." I say and he nods.
Fitz's POV
Sophie has been in labor for a few hours. I was in the room with her until Elwin looked worried. I noticed Sophie had passed out.
"Keefe, Tam pull him out. Pull him out!" Elwin yelled. I knew something wasn't right. Tam and Keefe grabbed me pulling me out of the room despite me fighting against them.
"What are you doing?!" I yelled. Biana came up to me with a tear streaked face. "I'm sorry Fitz it was her choice." She whispered. Her choice? What is going on?
She handed me a letter.
Dear Fitz,
I'm so sorry. If your reading this I'm either in bad condition or dead. I told Elwin if it was me or the twins to save them. It was my choice Fitz. I need you to promise me you will care for them if I don't make it. They are my twins, our twins and I chose them over me. I knew you would try to save me instead which is why I told everyone else that if needed to, pull you out of the room. I know you might hate me for choosing them but I want you to take care of them if anything happens to me. I will fight for my life to come back to my beautiful babies but it is all up to fate now.

By now I was crying. I slid down against the wall and cried. Tam and Keefe sat next to me comforting me.
Elwin came out and looked at us sadly. "Elwin tell us what the news is please." I say.
