(Y/N)'s POV

SLAP! SLAP!

Two slaps echoed through the ORC club room. After couple of minute of gruesome mind training in my own mindscape, I'd been trying to convince Rias to allow me to go after Asia. Issei had tried to back me up but she refused us both. The smacks were her way of getting the point across. I held my newly reddened cheek as I looked at Rias with an expression as close to hatred as I could get it.

"Is that it?" I scowled at her. "It feels like a mosquito bite."

"Let me try one more time," Rias said in anger. "If I say 'don't', you don't. You have to forget about Asia. You are members of the Gremory family now!"

"Fine," I hissed. "Then I'll go rogue then. If being here means that I have to abandon friends then I want no part of this shit hole."

"If he goes, I go." Issei told her. Despite the circumstances, it was great to know that my twin brother cared this much about me.

"I'm sorry, but I can't do that." Rias apologized, though not really meaning it.

"Of course not," Issei scoffed. "I'm your precious Pawn. Can't do without your most valuable pieces, can you?" It seemed he was finally releasing his displeasure about being a Pawn.

"Oh, for the love of..." I exclaimed to the air before looking at Issei. "Pawns are important, you dweeb. They're not the weakest piece in the game."

"What (Y/N) said is true." She began to address him. "Do you remember when I said that my Evil Pieces have the same characteristics as their chess characters? In this chess game a Pawn can do quite a bit. If a piece advances far enough into enemy territory it can be promoted to any other piece besides the King."

"So, does that mean eventually we can have all the same powers as everyone else!?" Issei asked in shock.

"Yes, but only if the master declares that place enemy territory," Buchou explained. "Say, for example, the fallen ones' church."

"Finally you used your freakin' brain, bro." I rolled my eyes before making my way to the door. I noticed that Akeno and Koneko were talking near the door. Koneko had been giving me looks throughout most of the conversation about Asia. She looked almost upset by something. I made a mental note to ask her about that later.

"They're jealous about it, kid." Bill pointed out as he perched on my shoulder.

'Wait, what?' I widened my eyes in shock after hearing it.

"You don't see it?"

"You kidding me..." I muttered under my breath and facepalmed my face.

"Now let's talk about your Sacred Gear." Rias carried on.

"Oh, boy... this gonna be long one..." I sat down on the couch, decided to listen for a bit. "Make it quick. I had a folk of chicken to roast."

"Oh, yeah," Issei said enthusiastically. "It doubles my power, is that right? That Fallen Angel, Rayne-some shit, told me."

"Just feel," Rias told him, placing a hand to his head. "Any Sacred Gear works in direct correlation to the feelings of its owner. Or, to put it another way, the stronger those feelings are, the more powerful your Sacred Gear will be."

"I didn't know," Issei mumbled. "That's cool."

"Now..." Rias then glared at me. "There something that you've been hiding."

"What? My ego or my jar of sass?" I sarcastically answered, only to reserve a piercing cold glare which I manage to push it off.

"It's about your immense magic. You have power that rivalled God and Satan in your body as it is. The way that all my piece rejected you until I given the King piece is prove as it is."
