Chapter 5: This is Gospel

(Y/N)'s POV

When, in any sort of mythology involving Devils, has it ever been said that the new guys have to skate around all night?

It was around midnight and I was on my skateboard going around this side of town handing out the easy-use magical circle leaflets. I've been given this handy little portable device to go on my wrist that humans with a significant amount of greed and it is these humans whom we rely on to gain more power in the Underworld. I just post a leaflet through their door and they can summon one of the Devils in our group with a wish.

"It's only been few days but you already accustomed with this devil business." Bill flew beside me as I do a stunt by going down the rail. "Begs me the question, why don't you fly rather than using skateboard?"

"You remember the first time I tried to fly?" I asked the one-eyed demon, throwing one leaflets in a post-box.

"Oh right, you crushed into a tree."

"Majestic as it seem, but I still a newbie with flying."

"Imagine yourself as a bird-"

"I don't lay egg, Bill."

"I got nothing actually. You on your own." We continue our journey in silent until Bill open his mouth once more....if he has one. "Are you sure you're fine on being a servants to the tomato head?"

"Oh, I'm pissed alright." I growled a bit while avoiding a black cat who was sleeping on the road. "What next, devils being auctioned in black market? She could've just save us in the very beginning rather than forcing us into being her servant."

"Yeah, because of her I can't possess you and control this universe of my free will! In fact, I'm stuck in your head."

"On the second thought, I'm glad she reincarnate me..."

"Wait, I thought you're by my side?! Or is it because of that two ladies in the club right now?"

I blushed when he mentioned it. "I don't know what you are talking about."

"I'm in your mind, doofus." Bill deadpan before pointing his finger at my heart, creating images of Akeno and Koneko in his eyes. "You're in love with them."

"I'm a hormonal teenage boy. There's nothing wrong for me to have crushes on woman."

"You know, you can have the same dream as your brother to have multiple girlfriends."

I jumped on the railing, sliding down to it before safely land on the ground. "What? Having a lot of female servants just to fulfill my satisfaction as a male? Yeah, smooth move right there. Like what Akeno said, 'Idiotic little twin brother'."

"And you burst out laughing so hard because of it. But it's true though."

We continue on sending out the last of the leaflets before going back home.

Issei and I separated from our two perverted friends and made our way to the Old School Building. We were very glad to hear at one point that all of the others in the group, barring Buchou, had to hand out the leaflets at one point or another. At least we weren't just doing it because they couldn't be bothered. A great thing about this new job is that we can at least slightly rub it in Matsuda and Motohama's faces. Issei and I greeted Koneko and Akeno as friends one day and those two just lost it. Priceless.

We entered into the clubroom after announcing our presence at the door. "Good, you're both here." Buchou confirmed before giving an order to Akeno.
