Shiro's POV
I smile down at katies and i's daughter as her small hands grip the counter top trying to grab a cherry once she did she smiled to herself and ate it.
I had taken the pit out of the cherry before she could grab it, since it was my night to make dinner I have Emma helping me cause I know how much she loves to cook with her number one dad.
I smiled as I got her step stool so she could help out more. "Papa when's mommy going to be back?" Emma asked me as her pale brown eyes stare into mine.
"She'll be back soon love dont you worry about it, don't tell me your tired of papa already baby."I say putting on a fake sad face.
"No! I love being with papa!"she yelled throwing herself at me. I chuckled as I caught her holding her close to me. "I know love I was just teasing you."
I assure her as I ran my fingers through her tan hair how she looks so much like her mother but has my nose its adorable.
I rub her back and set her on the counter letting her eat at much as she wanted before her mother got home from work. I smiled remembering how katie has forced me to stay home once Emma was old enough to be without her.
I handed her a small berry to eat, it was making lunch for her and I before emma and me went out to meet up with her mother.
I had put everything in a container ans put it on the counter helpping emma off the counter so she could go put her shoes on. I then bluckled her onto her car seat before heading towards Katie's work.
It had been acouple of years since allura sent Katie and I back to earth cause it was obvious that katie was a big threat if they got her while she was pregnant.
I glance back at emma seeing her holding the dish for her mother. I parked in one of the spaces and turned off the car getting out and pulling out emma placing her on my hip so I could close the door to the car and put her on the ground taking her small hand in mine as we walked into kaites work place.
"How can I help you sir?"one of the people asked me. "Im here to see my wife katie."I smile at him as I saw katie look over at me. She walked up to him and patted his shoulder.
"Hello love, hello my little bean you guys came at the right time I'm just about to take my lunch break." she said walking out and coming around to pick up emma. "Hello my little emma what did you bring me today?"she smiled at emma."me and daddy brought you a fruit salad."emma said boldly smiling at her mother.
"Oh how sweet of you two I haven't eaten any fruits today so this should be good for all of us."kaite said looking at me. "Babe let's just go sit down"I say and grabbed her hand and emma grabbed her other hand smiling.
I picked emma and put her in the seat next to her mother before sitting in front of her letting myself smile. I looked over at Katie as she opened the container and stared to eat the front salad.
I smiled lightly getting up and whispering in her ear. "Hows out little child doing."I ask gently placing my hand over her stomach as I kiss her neck softly.
