The Beta returns

**** Alpha Dominic's POV******

The prophecy sent me here what I expected was not a girl who seems more wolf than human. At first I thought maybe she is my mate, but nope no sparks nothing special. Her eye glows while the other is a dull blue I'm quite curious about who she is and what she is capable of. We sit in silence she just stares forward and I match the silence as I clean the conditioner from her hair. The only thing that broke the silence is my Beta Jake laughing at us. The girl and I sent a growl at the same time. Which made Jake laugh harder I get up realizing my shirt and pants were soaked from the tub and grab the bag of stuff for the girl and slam the door shut. I look back at the girl sitting with her knees to her chest just staring at me her small stature and perfect complexion reminds me of the porcelain dolls my mother would collect. I grab a towel from the linen closet and hand it to the girl who slowly takes the towel from my hands. " we are done" I say and walk out the room ready to tear Jakes head off for laughing.

"Come on Dom you know it's funny" he says running around the sofa to put space between us with a smile plastered on his face.
" You are lucky I don't tear your head off" I growled
"You wouldn't do that with the Luna in the other room?" He questions
"She isn't my Mate I would know" I say
"Ok ok ok " he says lowering his hands down
I decide to give up on the fight and sit down flipping something on the tv. Jake sits down next to me and I punch his leg "ow mother fucker" he said clutching his leg. "Don't be a baby" I snort. We sit silently watching the hockey game play out. When we hear the bathroom door open. We both turn to see the girl emerge. Her hair brushed out and smooth against her head. She wears a black turtle neck underneath a plain bright red t shirt with a pair of dark tight
jeans. She walks back and sits in front of the fire but this time staring at us instead of the fire.

"What is your name" Jake said she instantly tries to answer but it sounds like Scooby doo first words.  She knows she didn't make sense and sighs. Laying down from her sitting position with her hands under her chin, looking sad.
"I'm Jake your Beta" he says "and this your.." before he had a chance to introduce me I cut him off " I am Alpha Dominic Miller of the Sycamore Pack, you may refer to me as Alpha Miller or Alpha" I finish.
I get a mind link from Jake "do you think she understands us?" I send back "I think so"

"How long were you a wolf in the forest?" Jake blurts our another question. She holds up 2 fingers nodding silently to herself.

"Why does your one eye glow?" He says
She gets up and walks to the door. And nods for us to follow her. Jake and I look confused but both follow her out the door. It's now pitch black out and she points to the sky as the northern lights dance across the sky. 
"The lights?" I say in a breath
She nods squeezing between us back to the fireplace 
We follow her back inside, she starts laughing to herself trying to hold it on she then starts running around jumping over the furniture. She is supper happy compared to what I have seen her. Suddenly thought the front door comes my other men who sent to get dinner. Luke, Cameron, and Scar. She smells the pizza and starts pacing in front of the fire. She starts licking her lips. Luke walks over to the dining room and places the pizza boxes down and Cameron introduces himself to the girl who waves and once again attempts to say her name but doesn't makes much sense to Cameron either and he just shrugs as she looks slightly sad. Scar watching says "do you know how to spell it?" To her she nods.

Scar walks over to the pizza box and starts to write the alphabet on the top box. I sit down and open one of the other boxes of pizza and pull out a slice and start eating. Luke does the same while everyone else was too intrigued to start eating.

Like a ouija board we found out her name was Nicole she should is 20years old and the pack she was in doesn't have a name and she left them awhile so she was rouge. 

Everyone finally started eating the pizza.  I watched Nicole eat almost an entire pizza till she stopped suddenly. She ran into the bathroom and started throwing all of the pizza up.  Jake ran after her they both emerged twenty minutes later very exhausted.

I watched her circle around the rug a couple times before settling down.  Jake came into my bedroom and shut the door blocking my view of Nicole.
"Dom I don't think she has ever shifted back before"
"What do you mean" I question
"I think she shifted and then stayed in her wolf form till now" Jake said rubbing the back of his head
"Why did the prophecy send us here if she isn't even your mate? How is she going to make things better everything is falling apart back home !" Jake screamed.
"Listen she is different we just have to wait and see, we leave for Home in the morning " I say nodding at Jake to leave.
